Is Ricky Martin gay? Yes. Is this a suprise to anyone? No. If he was straight, and he really wanted children as a 'single' man, would he have trouble finding a nice girl to have kids with? No, even Tom Cruise had kids and he is crazy as shit....and probaly gay too, bad example, I know. He is a public figure, a celebrity, who doesn't love himself enough to live honestly and openly in the world. Just like Rosie, Elton, Ellen, Melissa, and every other homo in the world said AFTER coming out....'it was the best thing I ever did for myself'. Ricky.....come out already. You are as bad as Clay Aiken and Lance Bass, before they grew a set and FINALLY came out. Jeeze!

I don't think it is necessarily about not loving himself honestly and openly in the world. There are factors involved in each person's life, factors we the public cannot possibly be aware of. Coming out is a personal choice and as such to be respected and not EXPECTED.

You can't put that on people to "come out" simply because we think they should. Especially if that person chooses to live a private life and is not causing anyone harm in doing so.

We are getting to much of the "come out already" crap. It's like the gay peasants have all gathered at the burning windmill, pitch forks in hand, pounding on the door shouting and screaming for the monster to emerge and throw himself off roof! That is hardly what I would call compassionate or fair.

If Ricky comes out, ok. If not, my life will go on and nothing will have changed except for the fact he said it. Even then some of us will only wonder if he takes it up the ass or if he likes it on top. It has to end somewhere, with respect to a person's privacy and personal choice.

Leave people alone with that stuff already.
