True, a few days ago I actually did some online research and typed a couple of fairly long posts on that thread. Then it was commandeered by someone who felt the need to reply to every single post in a very condescending way, using all this "if not a, then also b but not c" kind of twisting of logic, and the ridiculousness became unavoidable. The topic of same sex marriage is not ridiculous, but that attempt at it got knee-deep pretty quick.
