Does anyone know if Trump is breaking any laws by claiming that the election is rigged. It seems a very dangerous thing to me that he can plant the seed of that idea without any evidence what-so-ever.

His idea of "rigged" seems to include anyone who disagrees with him. All Clinton supporters, The media etc. So is Ryan in on it too? What about the Rep Leader in Ohio? Is he in on it. Trump seems to feel that anyone that does not want him to win is out to get him....Oh wait, maybe they are (Duh!) But claiming the only way he can lose is if the election is fixed could lead to violence and create an even worse divide than the one that already exists in the USA.

It's extremely irresponsible for sure.

It won't rise to the level of the criminal so long as he's not making specific requests for violence (and instead just indirectly inspiring people to it by suggesting that the election will be stolen from them).

Trump is not breaking any laws by claiming the election is rigged as there's been a history of evidence it is indeed that the mainstream media will refuse to let in on.

Any reason why only so few attend Clinton's rallies versus Trump's?

Any reason why Clinton won't answer questions from the press or audience unless it's prepared in advanced? There was one video where Clinton was giving brownies and treats to reporters before leaving a rally.

One of the goals of a tyrannical leadership is to have control of the media and the press, and so far Clinton has done exactly that.

Has Fox news not done the same thing against Obama for the last 8 years?

Republicans were all about respecting the office of the presidency in the Bush years, despite his unpopularity. Now, in the Obama years, it's perfectly ok to not respect the president.

Republicans only say it's rigged when results don't suit them.

The GOP is a sad lot. I can only pray that they go away forever.

Just because godless Hillary (a.k.a. "Antichrist" or Killary) doesn't have fervent, high-attendance rallies doesn't mean that she doesn't have the majority support of the country. Many supporters of Clinton don't feel the urgency to attend the rallies.

How do you make this leap in logic: By virtue of Trump's high-attendance rallies with feverishly angry supporters - unlike Madame Secretary's events - we then conclude that Mr. Trump is by far the more popular presidential candidate.

What gives?

What a moronic post.

There is no evidence of the sort. If anything... the press has bent over backwards to give trump Free air time worth 2 billion dollars that they did not give to any other candidate ( which is the only reason Trump has gotten this far ) and the press have been guilty of trying to be "fair" by trying to talk shit about hillary as often as they talk shit about Trump- but the result has been Comparing Hillary's "scandals"- in which NO wrongdoing has been uncovered to Trumps scandals, in which he has been indicted, declared bankruptcy, run a "charity" that gives nothing to charity.. and worse.

The press had been woefully inadequate in its duty to inform the american electorate that ALL the allegations against hIllary have NO evidence in support... despite 7 congressional investigations spanning 6 years...whereas Trump has been shown to have BRIBED an attorney General in Florida to drop a fraud investigation against Trump University... his overt con game.

The US media IS under the control of some people... but it sure as hell isn't Clinton, or else the media would NOT be reporting on every stupid accusation by right wing idiots trying to destroy her reputation with unsupported innuendo and rumor.

The media is, unfortunately, controlled by 6 megacorporations, who run news programming as a profit center.... ( whereas in the past, media companies were Required to present news programming, even though they were a dead cost that did not make any money )

Because of this, the media have abrogated their duty to inform in favor of their opportunity to profit from "Infotainment"- They give free air time to Trump, Not because they give a damn who wins... but because people watch, and that makes them money.

We get the government WE elect. Stop imagining the government is your enemy.
Obama proved that no amount of billionaires money can prevent Americans from voting for the better candidate.

Trump is a whiney little Bitch... and the people who would vote for him ARE deplorable.

His rhetoric of 'stolen' elections delegitimizes the process of electoral democracy... and that is how you end up in a despotism... The US has a 230 year history of PEACEFUL transfer of power. Even when an election HAS been stolen ( When the Supreme Court made Bush president by stopping a vote count ) the country moved forward because the losing side respected the tradition of NOT delegitimizing the democratic process...

It is far worse to undermine the traditions of peaceful transfer of power, than it is for the wrong guy to be president for 4 short years.

What Trump and his supporters, and YOU, are doing is WORSE than being whiney sore losers... it is treasonous. It is anathema to the entire concept of the United States and its constitution. Its un-American.

Pathetic, ignorant, conspiracy nut foolishness.

No, not like this.

There were always some stings about Acorn and stuff, but nothing where the candidate themself is pushing an agenda that the entire outcome of the election is fraudulent (unless you count Al Gore, but even then, that was after the election took place, not beforehand like this).

Accuracy is nothing to do with it. It's legal to lie. It's not illegal to incite a riot, but he's made no specific call to violence (on this issue. He has specifically incited violence with respect to protesters at his rallies...)

Many politicians that either loose an election or are unpopular often blame somebody else, usually the media, rather than take responsibility for the own mistakes. But usually it happens after the election. I've seen it here in Canada too. If for some bazaar reason Trumpy wins he'll look very stupid because he's said the election is rigged.

Big difference between Canada and the US, here you can be charged for inciting a riot.

Since you're so smart, explain this?:

I agree, the people who egged this Trump Supporter were wrong. But you can't sit there and say that none of Trump's supporters have committed acts of violence at his rallies. You found a very rare instance of violence against Trump supporters. His supporters routinely commit acts of violence against protestors, often spurred on by Mr Trump himself.

This could, and will I am sure, be debated for some time, but in my view the decline in respect for the presidency began while Bush was in office, coming from the left. The liberals, their left leaning cable news networks, the michael Moore's, along with the daily dissecting of "Bushisms" set the stage for the new norm of attacks. It was ok to tear down our leader on a daily basis, in fact, it was de riguer, encouraged, accepted.

Obama himself was responsbile for further downgrading the office. What sitting president when on late night talk shows acting like a pop star, rather the leader of the free world? Or sitting court side with Jay Z? His obsession to be everything cool made us all see the presidency in a new light. Beer summits. Bowing to the Saudis. You name it.

As far a rigged election, I recall hearing this coming from the left during the 08 and 12 elections. In fact, I knew people all set to submit filings for recounts on Election Day when obama lost. Of course, that never happened, so apparently it wasn't rigged. And obama has not been assassinated, and none of the others horrors we were told would happen. So, take this claim of rigging as you will, but it's not the first time a candidate has used (abused) this threat.

You must have been on some other planet during the first Clinton presidency.
