He was Mr. Right Guy. But it was at the wrong place (college classroom building that was super busy). And at the wrong time, we went to my apartment because my roommate was supposed to have been at work.

He was a college jock, very handsome face, killer smile, bright blue eyes, nice tall muscular body, beautiful cock (he flashed his erection at the urinals). I asked if he had a place to go and he said no. He asked if I did and I told him I lived in a small one bedroom apartment and I had a roommate. But at that time of day, my roommate would be at work.

We walked to my apartment which was on the other side of campus. During the walk, we had a nice chat. He was very intelligent and the chat between us was pretty smooth. I was really turned on by him. We were both in the closet at the time and wanted to keep things very discreet.

Things took a bad turn when I opened the door to my apartment and my roommate was sitting on the couch. I was pissed because my roommate was supposed to have been at work but he called off that day. Mr. Right Guy freaked out and left.

A few weeks later, I ran into Mr. Right Guy again. I apologized to him about my roommate. Turns out he worked with my roommate and (like most of the people that worked there) didn't like my roommate. He begged me not to say anything. I told him he was safe, I didn't like my roommate either and luckily I only had to live there for 3 months.

We ran into each other a few times between classes. We didn't have time to chat, so we would make plans to meet later for lunch. We did this quite a few times and we got to know each other pretty well. I know that I really liked him. I think he liked me too. Things seemed to be going pretty good until one day at lunch, we ran into my roommate. I could see that my roommate seeing us really bothered him. After that, I didn't see him again until there was a week left in the semester. I'm pretty sure he was waiting for me outside my morning class when I ran into him (this is where we first met). We chatted for a few minutes. I told him in a few weeks I would be moving into my own place, no more roommate! He told me in a few weeks he was graduating and he had a new job and would be moving there. I told him I was happy for him but I was sad to see him go. He asked if my roommate was home and I told him that he most likely would be, but I wasn't sure because I didn't talk to him anymore. It was a toxic situation there. He understood, he remembered how my roommate was. I did give him my new address and told him to write me sometime. I never did hear from him.

About 5 years later, I did run into him. He was in town for Homecoming weekend and agreed to have lunch with me. When we sat down, he was excited to tell me he had come out of the closet and for the last 2 years he had a boyfriend. I was happy for him, it was great to see him so happy. But damn, I wish we had both been more out at the time and tried dating. He will always be the one that got away.

I wish things could have turned out differently, but they didn't, and I'm over it, and we've both moved on. We still stay in touch, and there is a fondness there. It means the world to me that he's still there for me as a friend. If I ever find something as special with someone as special again I think that I've learnt enough and changed enough that I won't completely fuck it up.

Probably 15 years ago at work, we had a big contract going at my work for 6 months or so. We hired about 25 temp workers.
Myself and a female temp became quite friendly, and I could tell it was a mutual attraction. We talked and flirted every day for months. Never been one to dip my pen into "company ink", so I never pursed her any further. Sure as Hell wanted to though!

Anyway, last day of work for the temps, I took them all out for lunch as a job well done thing. At the end of the last day for the temps, they clocked out. Dorothy came to my desk, grabbed a sticky note and wrote down her phone number and said call me.. She was cute as Hell! The job was over now, so I could pursue a relationship with her! I was excited! I put the sticky note in the pocket of my pants.

Being summer and close to 100 F temps, I went home, mowed the grass and got all sweaty. Went in the house, cooled off and took a shower. Afterwards, decided to launder those sweaty clothes. As you might guess, emptied my pockets and missed the small sticky note with her phone number.

It was unreadable after coming out of the washing machine. Could have shot myself that night.

Back in my college days, several of my clients hired me to be their escorts on trips to New York and Washington. While the Washington parties tended to be senior government people and foreign diplomats, the New York parties included many for the fashion and art scene in the city.

One evening, I was later told by my client, I caught the eye of Andy Warhol and his entourage. She continued to say that he wanted to immortalize me on canvas - especially since she had mentioned my size. She continued to say that there would have been something extra in it for me.

I was incensed that she would presume to pimp me out to anyone. Nobody selects my clients for me. I recall that that entire entourage looked unsavoury to me.

I fired my client right after getting paid that night (she had to pay by the night). Andy Warhol died about 2 years later. As for his hangers-on, I have no clue, nor do I care.

I should have approached Warhol separately, and, said that he could paint me, but, also had to give me two of his works of my choosing.

As Doris Day so aptly sang it, "Que sera, sera.".

Ugh... I've run out of things I've "lost" in the wash.

Was there any chance you could have gone to HR with a sealed envelope, and told them she left somnething at her workstation, and could you please forward it? And in the envelope, you could have written a note / your phone number? Just sayin'...

How many of you have experienced this before? How did you deal with it?

During my life I've managed to meet the most interesting people at the most in-opportune time and places... How do I deal with it? I don't. Events are random, and in the end, there is no guarantee that the "event" would have turned out as fondly as I think it may have.

Neither of us were on LPSG in 2005....

Having to deal with PII in my line of work made me think this could be a plausible solution that could have favorable results...

Then again.. she knew where you were... Just sayin'... ;)
