Ripped short shorts or tight bathing shorts..

    I wouldn't pick either of those. I like the silky type of running shorts. Not the high split leg ones (unless I'm actually running). Just the regulars. Hate the mesh pouch ones - mesh is kind of abrasive, but the soft silky pouch ones are great.

    Ripped short shorts?? Ripped where? Short shorts are hardly appropriate to go out in public with anyway, I cant see the improvement of ripping them...
    If you must wear shorts why not get some that go to the knee and if you want to swim, boardshorts.
