Burns' day has just passed so the Scottish bard - most people will know him as the author of "A Red, Red Rose" - has become topical recently. And there's some interesting things to learn about him, besides his poetry. Apparently he had a rampant sex drive and was very fond of his manly endowment, which he called, affectionately, his "sonsie pittle". He's also the creator of a bawdy drinking song called "Nine Inch Will Please a Lady". And his sexual and religious interests converged in the ballad, "The Holy Willy". Read more about him here:
