Robotic Sleep Sex

I regularly have an issue which I am not too sure is unique to me or is quite common - I have certainly never seen the topic being posted in the past.

I quite often wake up during the middle of the night, or to be exact, semi-wake up and find myself literally gyrating on top of my partner with a boner. It is kind of a lucid state in that I vaguely know what I am doing but I am still kind of groggy asleep and in a robotic type trance.

I never know what causes this - perhaps a dream or maybe surfing some porn earlier in the day perhaps.

Anyway, sometimes I am brushed off and I rollback over asleep but other times we end up having sex and for some reason my performance is literally 300% quicker, harder, longer and more "pornstar" like than when I am totally awake. This trance like session is quite fast and furious and involves many positions in clinical quick fashion - I guess "clinical" is the right word to use.

In all honesty, I wish I could perform like this more often when I am awake but I seem to do it robotically when half-asleep.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

No, i haven't but it sounds plausible. You're probably not inhibited while in this sleepy state. Try comparing it to drunk sex...? :)

I've not done this; but I saw it on an episode of House a few years ago and the initiator was a woman.

Check out the sleep sex site for more info.
or sexsomnia is a form of non-rapid
eye movement (NREM) parasomnia (similar to sleepwalking) that causes people to engage in sexual acts while they are asleep. The proposed medical diagnosis is NREM Arousal Parasomnia - Sexual Behaviour in Sleep, and is considered to be a distinct variant of sleepwalking/confusional arousals (ICSD 2).

Sexsomnia is not always problematic or extreme for those who experience it or for their partners. There is a great variety in both the frequency and levels to which people are affected by this disorder.

Mr Ed is also hard all through the night while sleeping even though his dreams aren't sex related.
Unlike you it is I who initiate's sex while he is sleeping. Oftentimes he may not even remember that he has had sex.
Which doesn't say much for me I guess!

Very interesting - it would seem as if I may suffer from a weird kind of sexual sleepwalking. I have to say though, it is bloody fantastic when it happens which is usually about every 6 weeks or so although sometimes I get a run of them days apart.
