As a sub-point, you can read from either story that Big Ben was not wearing a helmet and he'd made his views on (not) wearing one plain. For those of you that live in states or countries that don't have laws on the books about it, do you wear a helmet when you ride?
Who is this person????

He's the starting quarterback for this year's Super Bowl Champs...Pittsburgh Steelers.

Yea...he's sort of a big deal. However maybe he'll learn that he's not totally invincible and things like helmets and seat belts should be used for a reason.

[This concludes Alt's lesson on traffic safety.]

I have a brother-in-law who wrecked his Harley a few years ago and although he was wearing a full-face helmet he suffered brain damage.

Have you see the Harrison Ford movie Regarding Henry? That could have been my b.i.l. His personality is now that of a kind, caring human being while beforehand he was a sorry s.o.b.

Roethlisberger, Gary Busey and others were lucky indeed.

A friend of mine saw the accident today and commented to me (around 11:30 am) before we all heard who it was that was on the bike, that he would be surprised if the guy survived. It was bad, he said.

'Hoping for the best . . .

Sorry, that was just wrong.

Kellen Winslow Jr called Ben later that night, asking for his helmet back. Ol Big Ben played dumb.... go figur'
