Yea...he's sort of a big deal. However maybe he'll learn that he's not totally invincible and things like helmets and seat belts should be used for a reason.

[This concludes Alt's lesson on traffic safety.]

Yeah. we'll see if he changes his tune once he is all better. He is lucky to be alive.

I have a brother-in-law who wrecked his Harley a few years ago and although he was wearing a full-face helmet he suffered brain damage.

Have you see the Harrison Ford movie Regarding Henry? That could have been my b.i.l. His personality is now that of a kind, caring human being while beforehand he was a sorry s.o.b.

Roethlisberger, Gary Busey and others were lucky indeed.

A friend of mine saw the accident today and commented to me (around 11:30 am) before we all heard who it was that was on the bike, that he would be surprised if the guy survived. It was bad, he said.

    'Hoping for the best . . .

 funny how you're all rooting for the survival/recovery of someone whose injuries are, by any estimation, his own fucking fault. has it not occurred to you that we'd be better off WITHOUT this clown's contribution to the gene pool?
