I purchased the DVD of "Myra Breckinridge" the other day since it was cheap (4.99) but wish now I hadn't other than seeing this hunk. He supposedly gets screwed by "Myra" (Raquel Welch) with a dildo (although you never really know what she used).
This was his first and only movie but should have gone on to bigger and better things.

Not quite accurate, on a technicality... he also had an uncredited bit part as a townsperson in 1969's Paint Your Wagon starring Clint Eastwood.

According to the rumors, his rôle in Myra B. left him stigmatized within the industry, which is why his career ended so suddenly.

Online assertions that he died in Ohio in 2005 or in Hollywood in 1986 are incorrect.

According to the book, the dildo was huge, and minimal lube was used. He bled, but of course it would have been much worse IRL - poor Rusty would have been badly torn and destined for the ER.
