In a recent thread which I won't mention I was properly admonished for diverging from a threads original intent. It was suggested that rug rolling be taking elsewhere and that got me curious. What kinds of rugs are best for rolling people up in?

Then someone mentioned in the same thread said something like Crosses off which made me curious to wonder if when rolling people in rugs we are supposed to include a cross or some other item depending on if they are religious or not.

How do you dispose of people in rugs and do you add anything.

1 more thing where do I dump these stuffed rugs?

Dump 'em in the ocean'; that's where mermaids come from.

This is actually what the moderators do when they ban someone...

We have deals with large carpet manufacturers in most countries.

Carpets are a lot cheaper than rugs and can be cut to size. It is the cutting that often slows to banning process, though until now, I've not been allowed to divulge this information as it may have been frowned upon, however given that this is a support site and you were seeking feedback on it, I obtained the required permission.

We generally don't include anything, though if an item strikes us as particularly apt given the reason for the banning, we may throw that in, just as some form of eternal reminder of what they've done. A tin of spam for spammers (it used to be an mp3 player with a copy of the spam song, but that got a little costly after a while!) things like that.

Where we dispose of them depends on which country they happen to be in, and which mod takes care of it... Since I don't drive, I usually wait for a random bus to stop close by and shove them in the storage bit since they are rarely used on public buses!

Actually, that statement wasn't directed at you specifically...it was directed at the folks who had derailed the thread and were now beating a dead horse so to speak.

It was a sarcastic (my take) attempt to get the thread back on track and have the other issue of I can't see you...oh yes you can or "to roll each other in an old rug and dispose of the remains." Petty bickering back and forth.

But to answer you q....yes you usually dump the remains in an abandoned field or weigh it down and sink it in the river.

    How did I miss this?
BTW, I'm the one who said to take the rug rolling elsewhere. The smell of bleach was just grating on me. ;)

Don't roll them in burber carpet because it's stiff and clunky. It's like sticking a toothpick in a toilet paper roll really.

It started when Rick Astley gave up singing to become a carpet salesman - it was a prank he regularly pulled on his competitors and became known as 'rug-rolling'.

First you feed the intended a lot of finger cakes laced with Exlax. It's very difficult to rug-roll people when they're bloated. Using an extremely worn, very old oriental is best; these can often be found, inexpensively, at local flea markets and then cut to fit. Finally, wrapped in twine, and as molto mentioned, they should be weighted with rocks and rolled into the nearest river, lake or other large body of water. If using an ocean for disposal, a boat will be necessary; simply rolling the remains into the surf is rarely sufficiently effective.

It really helps to be able to just do the entire thing you need to do on top of the rug so they are already where you need them to be. Much less effort needed that way.

I've been rolling people in rugs since before I could remember. Apparently I was telling others how to roll for me when I was just too little to do it myself. Outsourcing is always negotiable.

I'd say these are among the many things my grandmother taught me, but mostly I learned to roll in college.

Is lino ok if you're too cheap to stretch to a proper rug? They kinda melt to fit aswell. ;)
