The Broken Hearts Club was a pretty fun and funny romantic comedy. Unfortunately most gay movies are absolutely awful, lousy writing, directing, acting. And those that are good aren't usually very romantic. :-(

Ugh, could not stand Call Me By Your Name. Painfully trying to be so cool, but the dialog was like a 19 year old virgin English lit major from a farming community's idea of sophisticated and cosmopolitan.

I'm just happy that they are making gay content for mainstream audiences that paints a picture of more than gays being tormented by their inner demons caused by their sexuality or HIV. The cautionary tale of living a gay lifestyle. No wonder why parents are so fearful for their gay children!

There are more colors in the world to paint with than just black.

Great movie...!

The only drawback is that it could have used some english subtitles... LOL
At some points, even though it's set in Northern England, I couldn't figure out what they were saying, their dialect was so thick.
I don't think I quite got most of what the dad said. Even the Romanian dude was easier to understand.

But you still can get the gist of everything and it's a really good story.

(I got a good chuckle when Nan flushed the full thing like it's something she does every day!)
