Ron Paul supporters continue to campaign here in CA, and they detest Shit Romney. Obama has no such problem from any organized campaign within the Democratic party. God bless Minnesota. Romney is the axis of evil for the 99% of us. He must be defeated. otherwise, canada and costa rica look pretty good.

He has not dropped out. Besides being in Washington and doing the job he was elected for, the campaign has decided to focus on racking up delagates in states with caucuses rather than put money in primary states where no matter what he does, the media brainwashes the people to vote for Obama lite, I mean Romney.

Ron Paul Drops Out of Primary Campaign | Indecision Blog | Political Humor | Comedy Central's Indecision

So basically, Ron Paul is done spending money trying to get VOTERS (the people he claims to represent), in favor of getting Delegates to undermine the democratic process and elect him even though the base is clearly not voting for him. And this guy claims to represent Liberty? Sounds like hes actually pursuing a strategy opposed to democracy (something I suppose we just need to get used to on the Right).

Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted. Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have. I encourage all supporters of Liberty to make sure you get to the polls and make your voices heard, particularly in the local, state, and Congressional elections, where so many defenders of Freedom are fighting and need your support.
Above is a direct quote of what was said. "Dropping out of the race" would involve his removing his name from consideration, entirely. Nowhere in that quote did he say those words...and that is not what he did. In fact, what he did is remarkably shrewd...he didn't drop out, he just said he's not going to campaign any more.

It may seem like splitting hairs, but it might actually be a viable approach for him.

Despite the reporter's slant on it, nowhere in this statement does he say that he has officially removed his name from consideration. He only said he's not going to use traditional campaigning tactics in certain states, and he is therefore still on their ballots.

Quite clever. Quite clever, indeed.

So clever, most people won't even realize he's still in the race.

He's got Romney right where he wants him.

Romney Takes Republican Nomination With Texas Primary Win

"Mitt Romney clinched the Republican presidential nomination by winning yesterday's Texas primary, a victory that put him over the top in the delegate chase. Romney now has at least 1,191 delegates, the Associated Press reported, with 1,144 needed to secure the nomination and challenge President Barack Obama in November's election..."
