    He posts on his Facebook

"The beauty and importance of Designer Brands & the Fashion Industry in our economy/society is beyond compare, but what does clothing really do? Well, in my opinion it serves two main functions: First, it protects our skin from the elements and secondly, it enables us to express ourselves -- or express what we think of ourselves -- or express what we 'think' others expect of us. But how often do we create pretense or hide parts of ourselves to make others happy, accept us, or feel comfortable?

We label people everyday and put them in boxes; we do this to make sense of the world around us. In collaboration with PLAYGIRL MAGAZINE I intend to celebrate fashion and our ability to express ourselves, but more importantly challenge all of us to see beyond the clothing labels and beyond the labels that society puts on us to reveal something that we all have in common -- the human body -- fragile -- vulnerable -- and beautiful. "

    Ronnie Kroell

I guess legitimate modeling was paying too well....they were correct, he's a little old for super status.

that's old for modeling, even on the men's side. At 26, he should have been a household name before the show that gave him some fame even started....like Beckford, Schenkenberg, Shaw, Bergin...to name a few....sorry....he might be a "personality" but super model....nah.

I work in the fashion industry as a casting director and I know Ronnie quite well. Actually I know a lot of the guys from the show quite well, Colin Branden, Sandhurst, Jonathan, Casey and Jay. The problem is not the career stalling but from the industry point, They are actually to known or exposed.

You see clients want new faces. They want people who have no name at all so that the focus is "a model in your clothes" When you get a reality star to model for you it becomes that personality in your clothes. It's more of an endorsement than anything. Prob here is that, people will then tie the person's tv antics to your clothes making your artistic vision unbelievable. For example if you are casting Dolce or Dsquarred you couln't cast Colin who in essence is the epitome of the Dolce guy because his oncamera persona was that of the nerdy virgin which is the opposite of sexy dolce.

Casey was doing the best for the guys on the first season because quite frankly the editors didn't put him as the focus so we never really got to know him which is good for tv show models.

Jonathan is doing actually really well but that's because of one thing. He lives in LA. LA loves reality show stars.

Ronnie is just getting smart. He and Sandhurst just realized that they got all the exposure they would have gotten from years of modeling by coming in 2nd on the show and both decided to move on from modeling. You have to admit you know there names before a host of other real blue chip male models right? Don't worry you are going to pretty much see both the 1st runner ups doing big things soon (career wise I mean lol)
