personally I dont like to having sex in a dark room, better I like one or two smooth gloomy yellow lights in front left and/or right . I think right light is very important for feeling your partners shapes , and for visual excitement, too much light and taking light in reverse angle is not good.

Surely, some kinds of lights have their better and worse features. While you see everything in the stark light of all lights, on, it's not really mood-increasing, and seems a touch too sterile. We're not lighting a porn set, after all, so it isn't really needed. Broad daylight might be the best of these alternatives, I love the warming effect of the sun when it shines on me (or my partner), and it feels good, though it is most draining, as I've told in the other thread. Candle light, or any soft lighting, is most atmospheric, maybe the best alternative, but as I said, it is of no importance to me.

The corridors of my apt. building have this great lighting system, it's rows of spots mounted inside the toeboards, and shielded so they only project a cone of light up the wall. Very atmospheric, maybe the perfect "illumination" for sex, I think. I plan to move to an own house around the next months, maybe I'll have a lighting like this installed in the rooms.

Yes... Sex whit a perfect atmosphere is great. And for have a great atmosphere, is necessary a perfect illumination. But the important thing is to make good sex!

Sometimes it's nice to do it in the dark. The sense deprivation helps to focus on the feelings. Other times it's great with lights just bright enough (candle light will do, onc e you're eyes get used to it) to see each other. My wife sometimes likes to get a good view of my cock going into her.
