I remember there was this huge batch of results from multiple studies that had stats from like 15000 men and claiming 5.1 to be average.

I looked up the actual paper and its super funny. Yes 15000 men had been measured but only a small fraction was measured erect. Something about 1100 people iirc. While about 900 of them were measured in asian countries.

So in the end they just put stats of 1100 men on a paper claiming the average penis size was 5.17 based on 15000 subjects.

The Wessels study was the most accurate ever done. They used injections to induce erections in the subjects.

5.1" average length
4.85" average girth
7" length 3/100 guys
5.9" girth 3/100 guys

My personal sample size is about a dozen, so not large enough for any statistical significance. What I can say though is that of all the guys I met, most were smaller than me, many significantly so (I am just shy of 6.5"). Two guys had a similar size and one guy was significantly larger. Or in other words, of all the guys I met 92% were smaller or similarly sized to me. Coincidentally, calcsd tells me that my length puts me in the 93% or 87% percentile (calcsd average and western average respectively), so I guess I could believe those studies.

First, there ARE a lot of smallish penises but we rarely see them or even hear about them in groups like this (before about age 35, I was one of them!
Second, it's preposterous to claim that anyone with 6"+ girth has or had priapism (a long-lasting involuntary erection that permanently damages the penis if not treated immediately). Perhaps you're thinking of Peyronie's disease, where scar tissue causes a bent erection. In either case, it makes no sense! I'm over 6" girth, and my cock is absolutely straight and of uniform diameter, including the head. Large girth is NOT a deformity.

As well the sample sizes in a lot of them are so small it makes the studies almost worthless, there just isn't a high priority as far as funding for this topic.
A meta study with more than 15.000 subjects is more than sufficient though.
A lot of the studies are based on men with anatomical problems so that skews it downward i think, also not much "racial" variety either, most from Asian or "White" countries.
Studies from africa show the same results.

Yep mostly from asian countries, not even truly erect penises and a disclaimer that most of the studies weren't even performed in a professional clinical setting. Quite a "metastudy."

You do understand that the average erect length they state only takes the studies into account, that used a specific methodology to measure an erect penis, right? So the studies that measured flaccid don't affect the erect length average. But what the 15.000 subjects have shown is that the average is pretty consistent in different countries (erect and flaccid). Also little fun fact: the difference between the korean study and the nigerian study is 4 mm. That's not even a difference of 0.2" hence statistically totally insignificant. So you can stop your "most from asian countries". Especially since only 2 studies are actually done on the asian continent (Korea and India). And guess what. Also 2 studies were done on the african continent. So you can stop your bullshit right here.

I don’t know about these studies. I’m longer than 6.5 inches and shorter than 7 inches, and if say I’m pretty average or even smaller than average. Maybe the internet and nude beaches are misleading?

Well, actually that's average length and girth. Whether you like it or not.
for one thing he didn't say he didn't like it he said he didn't believe it second one study should never be used as the end all of a topic and other studies have found other numbers so...

"Limitations: relatively few erect measurements were conducted in a clinical setting and the greatest variability between studies was seen with flaccid stretched length.

Conclusions: Penis size nomograms may be useful in clinical and therapeutic settings to counsel men and for academic research."

That says it all to me right there. These weren't serious well-funded professional studies, with such glaring limitations, and basically it was done just to be a self-esteem building prop for small-endowed men.

Most well-hung pornstars are in your size range.

Do you really think "well-hung" in porn is "pretty average or even smaller than average" in real life???

It doesn't add up...

You definitely should read more than the abstract. Because right now it seems that you don't really understand the study.
But at least you stopped the "most studies were asian" bullshit.

No offense intended but I am pretty sure that you ain't between 6.5" and 7" correctly measured. Maybe that's the flaw in your logic.

for one thing he didn't say he didn't like it he said he didn't believe it second one study should never be used as the end all of a topic and other studies have found other numbers so...
Can you refer me to clinical studies that found statistically significant different numbers? Because last I checked clinical studies around the world came up with pretty much the same numbers.

I went through them all in detail years ago and came up with the same conclusion, don't care to waste my time much doing so again, you're obviously wedded to its conclusions so no point in pointing out its shoddiness to you. By the way go in a lockerroom sometime in your life and you will realize immediately within 5 minutes that these "studies" are obviously wrong.

If you see pics from Burning Man or similar festival with lot's of regular naked guys it seems most fall into the 5 inch range...
