Well, straw man, I never said wishing death on someone wasn't wrong - I simply said to get all jumpy about it is a bit sensitive. To get upset over something like a slur - like "fag" - I can understand.

I'm glad he's healthy, and was able to be rehabilitated. Unfortunately, many in similar situations fail to obtain such help.

With Wainwright alive, he can aid in the fight against this substance; his musical capabilities notwithstanding.

Though the article is dated June 11 of this year I think he has been clean for nearly a year. I remember an interview with him on his “new” music and style (apparently a little toned down from his earlier stuff) about a year back.
He has one song out called “one man guy” that I found myself singing quite often (it is damned catchy.) If people had heard me they would not believe the 95% in my profile.
