Hey, I have recently started to play Rugby on the collegiate level, and its awesome, I love it. When I am in conversation with people, especially girls, and I mention that I play Rugby, they usually say something to the extend like, "Ooooo, You play rugby!!!" and its usually in a flirty kinda way too, like the kinda way where the girl bites her lip and smiles, before a few months ago, I had never even seen a rugby ball or played the game, I am not familiar with the stereotypes that playing rugby makes me fall in, so my question to you all is;

"When a guy mentions that he plays Rugby, what thoughts about him go through your heads? What judgments do you make about him? Are there stereotypes of Rugby players being hung?"

Big, thick, beefy, juicy legs. [/drool] Since legs are the power behind the "drive", perhaps it's the thought of what the performance that they give might be. More generally, rugby players that I've known have been the stockier beefier positions, and pretty masculine (Rugby - rugged), solid guys.

Rugby is a rough sport, like American Football. I guess you're from Britain/Australia?

I think it has less to do with the relationship sports-dick size, which would be a new, un-researched and un-scrutinized one, and more with the already mentioned masculine ruggedness that goes along with such rough sports. Novice has gotten that right about the powerful legs, the drive, and so. But I think it's also the roughness of rugby, those field fights bleed nasty male hormones, which also get women's juices flowing.

Some at least.

I played Rugby for years until I hurt my neck and back in a game

Loved it - great game and good people play it - you can fight with an opponent and then drink beer in the bar later with him - I know no other game quite like it

So probably the girls like the fact you are playing a sport and also that it is a physically hard and demanding one

I think they say 'ooh you play rugby' because they're surprised and its an interesting/unusual sport. I very much doubt they think automatically rugby = big cocks.

In my mind:

Rugby = short, stocky, stubbly men. I don't like to think of anyone being hung but I don't see why they would be hung more than footballers or hockey players.

True, but (no pun intended) hockey players have, what my very straight, body-builder room mate (and thus very obsessed with male parts) in school, called "HPB" (Hockey Player Butt), a smaller, more compact version of the beefy buns on a rugby player. So, they've got that in common.

No stereotype of them being hung HallWildcat. However Rubgy Songs give rugby players a bit of notoriety. Plus the girls (et al) will start imaging a bunch of stocky athletic men in the showers. She will be wanting one of them and you to flirt back I'm sure.

Rugby players have big balls.
No dear, rugby players have funny shaped balls.

I'm afraid I associate rugby players with broken noses, cauliflower ears etc. I cannot think of any particularly handsome rugby players.

Rugby players... short? Unlike that fake football in US where you're covered in scaffolding and you better be huge as opposed to athletic.

U need experience with REAL Rugby nations.

I played a bit in high school - good fun - when I studied in the US the guys from the College rugby team heard my accent a basically pulled me out of the crowd. I went to watch them... good god a local under 12's play better.

From my experience Rugby players are no more well endowed than anyone else - and I think it has to with the rough and tumble and dirt and sweat. It doesn't really have anything to do w/handsomeness.

I've been to a couple of parties hosted by the Rugby players and they get crazy. Naked slip and slide was a favorite of theirs.

Good Times!!

Both colleges I went to had Rugby teams. Wildass guys, great parties,
would shuck off in a heart beat and stay that way the whole night. (The whole team) My friends and I loved them because they were just so damn masculine. Lacrosse guys the same way.

Rugby and Dick Size? When I think of Rugby players, I think of small dick size. You can barely see any bulge in those pics.

But I love Rugby players... beefy, thick, rough.. woof.

Played Rugby since I was five.

"He's the meanest
he can take a horse's penis
XYZ is a horse's arse

He looks like a horse's arse
he smells like a horse's arse
oh, xyz is a horse's arse"

Those were the days.

rugby is a real mans sport, none of this girly american football the yanks play. i used to play flanker (no jokes please) or fly-half back in the day when little guys could play. I only really played coz i was quick. i was never the beefy guy.

as for rugby player/big dick correlation, i am aware of none.

Actually I think that peoploe believe that it is such a rough sport that it takes someone special to play it. Personally I think it's one of the most fun sports in the world. You hear more about it being rough than being fun. It's more fun than rough though.
There are chiks that follow rugby just like any other sport. Have fun.
