Back when I didn't know any better, I also used to measure from the side. I guess it just intuitively makes sense to put the ruler next to the object you want to measure.

But I didn't use to put the ruler at an angle in relation to my penis, because that definitely wouldn't have made any sense.

Far more than 1% of the side measured submissions show penis and ruler at an angle. I think those guys knew exactly what they were doing.

And I'll venture to say that 99% of the guys that put the whole ruler below the penis knew what they were doing too.

Initially, when I first decided to measure, I put my erect cock on a table and laid the ruler, straight, next to it. It seemed like the right way to do it. But I don't think anyone can claim innocence when they angle the ruler clearly, giving them sometimes well over an extra inch. That's just porn measuring, honestly. I can second this 100%. I used to be bone thin, and now that I'm heavier, around average weight, I swear, it's very much noticeable. This is why I see BPEL as a perfectly fine way to measure.

It's probably 8", though the measurement's not being done very well. You can see it's on a steep downward angle, since the ruler starts above his penis but ends below it. That and it being on its side adds a lot of length. Big dick, but bad measurement.

I see your point, and I was going to edit that into my post, but my opinion stands, it is at LEAST 8 inches NBP.

The measurement might not be 100% ideal, but its one of the best ones I've seen in a while. I don't see how anyone can dispute that that guy is, at the absolute minimum, 8" NBP.
