Okay, let me preface by saying I'm not attacking you personally or accusing you of purposely deceiving people. I just happened to see this picture and chose it for this example.

Measuring with the ruler to the side is incorrect, regardless if you can see the base of the ruler. When placing the ruler to the side, you can add lots of length easily. Here's an example of just how much a difference it can make.

Here's a correctly measured, ruler on top dildo. It's 8 inches long.

Here is the same dildo, measured from the side along with a flattering angle. instant 1.5 inches added.

It really does matter to make sure it is measured in the specific way. Just saying...
