Putin would have no problem switching the knob to "off" should the EU or Germany not abide by his wishes since he has done it before.

All that matters is winning.

“We won,” Priebus told me in an interview. Calling from the golf course on Sunday afternoon, he sounded both defiant and relieved. “Winning is what we were supposed to do, and we won. That’s the job of the Republican Party. It’s in the best shape it’s been in since 1928.”

Trump dictated son’s misleading statement with Russian lawyer
On the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Germany last month, President Trump’s advisers discussed how to respond to a new revelation that Trump’s oldest son had met with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign — a disclosure the advisers knew carried political and potentially legal peril.
The strategy, the advisers agreed, should be for Donald Trump Jr. to release a statement to get ahead of the story. They wanted to be truthful, so their account couldn’t be repudiated later if the full details emerged.
But within hours, at the president’s direction, the plan changed.
Flying home from Germany on July 8 aboard Air Force One, Trump personally dictated a statement in which Trump Jr. said he and the Russian lawyer had “primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children” when they met in June 2016, according to multiple people with knowledge of the deliberations. The statement, issued to the New York Times as it prepared a story, emphasized that the subject of the meeting was “not a campaign issue at the time.”

The claims were later shown to be misleading.
Over the next three days, multiple accounts of the meeting were provided to the media as public pressure mounted, with
Trump Jr. ultimately acknowledging that he had accepted the meeting after receiving an email promising damaging information about Hillary Clinton as part of a Russian government effort to help his father’s campaign.
The extent of the president’s personal intervention in his son’s response, the details of which have not previously been reported, adds to a series of actions that Trump has taken that some advisers fear could place him and some members of his inner circle in legal jeopardy.
As Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III investigates potential obstruction of justice as part of his broader probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election, these advisers worry that the president’s direct involvement leaves him needlessly vulnerable to allegations of a coverup.
“This was . . . unnecessary,” said one of the president’s advisers, who like most other people interviewed for this story spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive internal deliberations.

“Now someone can claim he’s the one who attempted to mislead. Somebody can argue the president is saying he doesn’t want you to say the whole truth.”

Russians See Sanctions Regime as a Blessing in Disguise

Despite existing sanctions against Russia, German exports to Russia have gone up by twenty percent, and investments are increasing in the domestic economy, says Richard Sakwa, professor of Russian and European Politics at the University of Kent

I don't usually link articles in here but this one really drove home to me the dangers of Putin and Trump's suspected ties with him.

Based on Bowder's explanations of how Putin came to power and how Russia exists solely to fill his and his corrupt friend's bank accounts I could easily believe a narrative where Trump's finances are deeply entwined with Russia/Putin. Thus Trump's insistence in Mueller not looking into his finances and his reluctance to share his tax returns. Not to mention his cronies interest in striking the Magnitsky Law down.

I have a feeling this'll be relevant in the future.

U.S. Reportedly Intercepted Russian Agent Chatter that Manafort ASKED for their Help

"... former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort... who had spent years on the political fringes helping dictators and strongmen get elected around the world and then lobbying on their behalf in Washington, came out of nowhere to join the Trump campaign, and then take over the reins when Cory Lewandowski was fired in June 2016.

By that time, unusual communications between the Trump campaign and Russian officials had pinged on U.S. intelligence agencies’ radar. As did Trump’s new right hand man."

NYT Article Suggests Bannon is Flagrantly Colluding with Russia

"...once again, the crap that Breitbart is spewing — and remember, Bannon has an ethics waiver to continue working with Breitbart — is magically being co-spewed by Russian bot farms...

... this is pretty much identical to what Team Trump was doing during the campaign. From McClatchy, in March: Operatives for Russia appear to have strategically timed the computer commands, known as “bots,” to blitz social media with links to the pro-Trump stories at times when the billionaire businessman was on the defensive in his race against Democrat Hillary Clinton...

The bots’ end products were largely millions of Twitter and Facebook posts carrying links to stories on conservative internet sites such as Breitbart News and InfoWars, as well as on the Kremlin-backed RT News and Sputnik News... "

dont know why its not viewed the other way aroud,or perhaps it is

Russia’s diplomatic reprisals put relations with US in deep freeze
Though not ideologically or militarily hostile toward the US in the same way as during the cold war, Moscow appears to have given up on any Trump detente and is digging in for extended tensions with Washington.

would say the RUSSIANS have finally acted
no country/peoples want any form of continual bullying
CHINA is left alone, same things likely to happen if the USA tried there BS tactics with them as well

“Russia is a big and resilient country that has more than adequately demonstrated that it cannot be sanctioned to its knees,” says Andrei Klimov, deputy chair of the international affairs commission of the Federation Council, Russia's upper house of parliament.

edit

“America has broken away from reality,” he says. “Its economic weight and political clout are not what they were in the 20th century, and Russia is not the prostrate country it was in the 1990s. They need to stop living in the past and come to terms with things as they are. The problem isn't with us.”

FBI conducted predawn raid of former Trump campaign chairman Manafort’s home

FBI agents raided the Alexandria home of President Trump’s former campaign chairman late last month, using a search warrant to seize documents and other materials, according to people familiar with the special counsel investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Federal agents appeared at Paul Manafort’s home without advance warning in the predawn hours of July 26, the day after he met voluntarily with the staff for the Senate Intelligence Committee.

The search warrant was wide-ranging and FBI agents working with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III departed the home with various records.

The raid came as Manafort has been voluntarily producing documents to congressional committees investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election. The search warrant indicates investigators may have argued to a federal judge they had reason to believe Manafort could not be trusted to turn over all records in response to a grand jury subpoena.

It could also have been intended to send a message to President Trump’s former campaign chairman that he should not expect gentle treatment or legal courtesies from Mueller’s team.

I think you'll find the white house will become protected property, but, who knows, Trump could dictate something to make it thus.
Meanwhile all the trump associates are out there busy shredding and shredding..
Oh yeh, he doesn't like CNN but loves FOX, well, even CNN is saying the president is having a working holiday at his golf resort!
Fake news?...
