I'm having trouble understanding Ryder's tweet for that picture. My Mandarin isn't very good. He says:

拉拉筋

I know 拉拉 (lālā) is slang for "lesbian."
拉筋 means stretching
the full thing is 拉一拉筋 verb + 一 + verb is just another way of expressing one is doing something - usually something brief - most often not an emphasis. Think of it this way: 看一看 as 'have a looksie'. But the '一' can be omitted, so one can just say 看看,摸摸,拉拉,吃吃,睡睡, etc.

Sure. You double the verb or adverb to "soften" the request, to make it more friendly, to make it less formal.

请, 慢地说。Please speak slowly.

慢慢地说。Speak a little more slowly.

I get a lot of use out of those! ;)
