Again no surprise here folks. Fear can motivate people to do anything. It's a tried and almost fail-proof method to get people to act. The slide presentation is absolute junior high school material using Batman characters to depict Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Exclusive: RNC document mocks donors, plays on 'fear'

The Republican National Committee plans to raise money this election cycle through an aggressive campaign capitalizing on “fear” of President Barack Obama and a promise to "save the country from trending toward socialism."

The strategy was detailed in a confidential party fundraising presentation, obtained by POLITICO, which also outlines how “ego-driven” wealthy donors can be tapped with offers of access and “tchochkes.”

One page, headed “The Evil Empire,” pictures Obama as the Joker from Batman, while House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leaders Harry Reid are depicted as Cruella DeVille and Scooby Doo, respectively.

Should any of this be the least bit surprising? From the party that brought us the "War on Drugs" and the "War on Terror" the "Domino Effect" the "Welfare Queen" the 9/11 references ad hominem. I could go on.

^This is their next campaign mantra... They're calling it the "indifferent sociopath".

A swan dive into the abyss................

Said Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse: "If you had any doubt, any doubt whatsoever, that the Republican Party has been taken over by the fear-mongering lunatic fringe, those doubts were erased today." He added, "Republicans across the country have cheered on crowds where these very images appeared."

Raynard Jackson, a GOP activist who has worked to attract blacks and other minority members to the party, was outraged by word of the presentation.

"This is just beyond the pale," he said. "And the best we can get is Michael Steele issuing a statement through a spokesman? And they wonder why they can't get minorities, especially black people, involved in the party?"

Republican fundraising document portrays Democrats as evil

WHAT? One party portraying the other as... evil?

This is very new and one sided!

It looks to me like something designed by nasty little fifth graders.

And trying to not overreact here, but does anybody besides me find the image of Obama in whiteface to be more than a little subliminally racist? I know it's based on the Joker makeup, and that would be its cover 'justification'. Still, to me it seems beyond the pale, no pun intended.

So I guess the Republicans have no ideas that they are FOR on which to run. Instead they'll run by painting President Obama as a socialist strawman. I think that sums up their strategy.

...and if he were pictured with a black face there would be cries of racism as well.

Either way, the wailing of racism charges will emerge.

    You're kidding??

Yes, I know his face is black. But if they used a picture of a black villain in the ad (are there any black villians or are even the cartoonists too scared of the liberals' screams of racism to even come up with a black villain?) the left wing would be howling about racism because a black man was pictured.

You're not scared of such a misrepresentation, so why don't you draw one, Starpooper?

I had a cartoon satire of Obama whining as avatar pic a few weeks ago and immediately was attacked as a racist by dozens of bleeding heart libs. Accused of being in KKK, etc.

Either way, the referencing of Harry Reid as Scooby Doo is bleeping hilarious.

Only thing I would have changed would have been Pelosi as the Wicked Witch of the West complete with green face.

Yes, I am racist against green witches.

    Thanks for caring, Midtolowlife.

Well, I did find this "official" bit of the Repub's evil empire plans for universal domination. I'm amused at how, on the plus side, they appeal to most of the "seven deadly sins" issue.

And here is where you can peruse the entire OutLook file converted to a PDF file. Looks like the Young Eagles (as in Eagle Forum chicks) are expected to be the main "telephone tree" from which they plan to get most of their small donations. Of course, after the recent SCOTUS decision, who knows what cooperations, know regarded as human voters, will dump bajillions into the various campains. http://www.politico.com/static/PPM136_100303_rnc_finance_leadership.html

Since explaining the differences and how some of the racist pictures could be perceived as racist (for the ten millionth time on this board) would go completely wasted on someone as dumb as you, I'll just sit back and watch you think you've made a point when in reality it just shows how much of an insensitive bigot you really are.

You have to be VERY willingly ignorant to ignore context, and our past, to come to these shallow minded conclusions. But hey, you're here to troll and gender confuse people so I would expect you to create a post this fucked up eventually.
