I'm at total loss, I've been to multiple doctors and they haven't been able to pin down a cause. So I figured I would try this and see if anyone has any suggestions. My issue is that I have no feeling in my penis. When I say "feeling" I mean like sense of touch, I feel pain just nothing pleasurable. If I am intimate with someone and say for example they are giving me a blowjob, I can't feel anything they might as well not be doing it at all. This also extends to things that deal with anal sex as well. I have no sensation there as well. Now I've been to two Urologists and got an ultrasound, prostate exam, etc. And they couldn't find anything physically wrong and they put me on Cialis which didn't work. So I went to a spine doctor who got an MRI of my lower back and he too couldn't see anything wrong "nerve" wise, just a slight bulging of a disc. It's been two years trying to figure this out. I do have anxiety/depression and am on Prozac and Buspar for it. If anyone has any advice or thoughts, anything really. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks :)

See a chiropractor. You may have a pinched nerve. The nerves in your lower back control sexual sensation. Do not be squeamish about telling the chiropractor why you are visiting!

Thank you guys! I have an appointment monday. I will keep you all posted

I have a couple of questions:

1. Did you say you can feel pain from your penis? If you poke your glans with a sharp object, do you feel pain?

2. You get erections, right?

3. If someone caresses another part of your body, your back or thigh, for example, do you feel pleasurable sensations?

Everything that I read says that pain and pleasure travel among the same nerves/pathways and even are processed by the same part off the brain.

If 1 & 2 are yes but 3 is no, then I would wonder if you have a brain chemistry problem going on. Do you take any meds? In particular, do you take antidepressants? Or use illicit drugs?

If 1, 2 and 3 are all yes, then I wonder if you have an issue with opening up to sexual pleasure. Sort of like a "stage fright" thing, the more you want to feel pleasure and push yourself to do so, the less likely it is to happen.

Hey everyone so quick update. Thank you so much for all of your responses. So ive been to a chiropractor now, as well as many other urologists and now I am going to see a neurologist next. No doctor has been able to quite figure out the certain issues that plague me. And some new symptoms have developed. It's harder now to get an erection, as well as it's my testicles now get very cold as well. In response to the previous replies. Yes I can still get an erection, not amazingly hard nor does it last long, but the numb feeling extends throughout my whole saddle area as well. So still no answers yet but I'm giving it my all

The topic of this thread is "saddle anesthesia". That is a temporary problem and usually caused by poor adjustement of the bike's saddle (angle, advancement, height) and cycling without your legs supporting part of your body weight (akaL all your uppoer body weight supported by the contact with saddle). Shape of saddle also matters (with in back vs how quickly it narows to front). Women have wider saddles then men.

If your problem is permanent, has it always been the case, or did it start at some point? do you know what event happened at time it started?

I've only had saddel anesthesia once , and that was on bike rollers at home (where you don't put much weight on pedals). It was very strange and once I got off bike sensation came back fairly quickly).

Have you tried not masturbating for a few weeks to see if that helps? Could be pelvic floor stuff. It could be that you need to take focus away from the penis and focus on foreplay some to take some of the stress off of orgasm as the goal.(IANAD). Try to think of it as enjoying the process vs focusing on the endgame.
