So im am considering to star jelqing. I am just curious to see if I could get the extra inch that i am looking for. but is there anything that I should worry about? I dont want to injure myself and do some serious damage. I did read the beginners blog here, but is there anything else I should know before i start?

slow and steady and just remember its going to take time for the gains to show a permanent increase. stick with it and follow big al's guide and you'll be fine.
