I feel like he knows it's utterly meaningless yet a part of him wants to deceive himself and other people into thinking that there's something more to it. It's like he wants to be an instagay twunk Oprah or something with his "share with me your life story" thingy.

Really not trying to deliberately be mean or anything. Haha. It's a genuine sincere observation. And if he's as smart as he claimed (bragged) he is with his education and previous high-flying corporate job, he would have figured it out by himself already. It's an empty hollow pursuit, this social media fame thing.

And, the irony is, he talks about authenticity and seeking meaning and passion blah blah blah. If he's truly serious about those things, he will look back in a few years time at this phase of his life when he's serving thirst traps for some cheapass Internet fame and fortune as a big mistake. What's point? It's kind of sad.

Aw, I'm not part of a gay clique but my friends are fun! :D I find that the big cliques are filled with boring ppl who just like to party and show their lives on social media.
