He reminds me of a friend I have. All the talent, looks, and some great Parts to their personality, but they are their own worst enemy and somehow always get in their own way of success. Which means they have to try harder than they should to be successful. This is probably why this Pam/ Tay thing bothers me. Yet another self afflicted wound stopping his momentum and putting him in a bad light. Hard to watch. He needs a close confidant to pull him aside and tell him what he needs to hear and not friends who kiss his ass to be on his blog.
You summed up to me what's wrong with AEW altogether to progress even further.

They all just want to hear praises and glory, but as soon as, you point out the flaws, you deserve to be dragged, bullied, harassed (AEWBotches) and even get your life threatened (Jim Cornette, Jim Ross for saying live WWE Dynamite or awarding Randy Orton as the best wrestler over Kenny Omega) or more recently Big Swole (who made valid points about AEW originals getting push down the card only to be featured 3 minutes on Dark or Rampage, in favor of ex-WWE recents arrivals).

Whenever a non-positive critic is lashed out on AEW, Tony Khan and their rabid fans (mainly those from SquaredCircle in Reddit) comes out of the woodworks with forches to attack the individual who dared not kissing AEW's ass.

It avoids AEW wrestlers like Sammy to actually progress to expand their popularity, but also to put their shit together, because AEW feels like a circle-jerk cult more than an actual open-minded wrestling company.
I think that's why Sammy is parading in a cocky way about fucking Tay, and acting erraticly behind the scenes, because he thinks that since he's an AEW wrestler, and the way the fans are acting like it's the 8th wonder of the world, and thus they can't do no wrong, especially against the bad evil WWE, he'll probably get over it.

Some valid points. AEW lost money it’s first year, and Tony has been on a spending spree with Big contacts. If AEW doesn’t start turning a profit in the next year, I wouldn’t be surprised to start seeing cuts. Sammy needs to keep the conversation about his wrestling talent front and center and stop the negative PR. Show he is an asset and not a pain in the ass. He won’t get offers from impact or WWE. Personally I want to see him on TV wrestling in AEW for years to come. I also agree he is young, talented, handsome, and now famous. It isn’t something many people adjust to easily. I will cut him some slack.

If you aren't allowed to point out people's mistakes because you made mistakes as well, then noone could say anything about anyone. THUS making "helping someone out" pointless. The phrase "Don't throw stones in glass houses" actually hurts those being criticized ALOT more since they believe they are better and won't hear reason.

Tony didn't earn the money his Dad did so I wouldn't be shocked if he just keep spending, he's not good at his job with the soccer team or the Jags but he's still working at both of them for his Dad. He has nothing to fear financially, he'll never be able to blow through billions, most of his talent came from the indies and are likely making modest contracts, the big name guys are overpaid of what has been reported is true.

So this is a weird thing that I don't know if it means anything but it sort of stood out to me. Anyone notice that Sammy's relationship with Tay is so out there on Instagram and Twitter? There is a picture with the two of them at least a few times a week and they seem to be hanging out so much. Hell he's been introduced to the parents in basically a month or two of them dating. BUT his previous relationship, we saw NOTHING of them together. No photos, she made an occasional appearance in the vlogs, no twitter interactions. I'm not saying this means anything but is it perhaps because its two wrestlers dating or something else?

Being so publicly attached to him is definitely good for her career and he gets a woman who (from what he’s said in media) is more his type and eager to please. I see it ending in disaster but for now it’s mutually beneficial.

I think his Ex was a private person who didn't really care to be in many photos on social media.
