Who agrees with me on this..Its good to laugh at yourself and have humor--BUT SNL totally made her look like the fool she is. If you think about it everything they said and did was actually what she did and said--But when she did and said those things SHE WAS SERIOUS!:biggrin1::wink:
They didn't have to write jokes or exaggerate anything they just looked at her speaches and actions and copy them!! The writes should get paid they didn't have to do anything!

Lol her appearnace was hilarious. I expected it to be more humorous, but I think they accomplished just what they were looking for. It was more so about mocking her right in front of her face than trying to make her seem funny. Genius.

She was on SNL herself this Saturday, and honestly, I think she did a fine job. She appeared in two sketches: in one of them, Alec Baldwin mistook her for Tina Fey, and in another, she declined to rap about her credentials (so Amy Poehler did it for her).

Not that it'd change my vote, but I thought she was a really good sport.

Who agrees with me on this.... even if Sarah Palin's performance was Dana Carvey/Eddie Murphy/Gilda Radner all rolled into one, and was cause for a 10 pt jump in the polls... atomicTIGER still woulda stated the above.

Not me. If Palin could cause a 10-pt jump in the polls, I'm pretty sure that SNL, not Palin, would be seen as the idiots.

I thought her appearance on SNL was in good spirits and I admire her for doing it but personally I thought it was awful. She looked like a damn idioit and its obvious people were laughing at her rather than with her. I guess she was just cashing in on her 15 minutes while she can.

Desperate people do desperate things. I just don't know if fallaciously linking Obama with terrorists is more desperate than appearing on a TV show that blatantly takes the piss out of you.

You are correct! People were laughing AT her! Anyone who can't see that is blind or in denile! Like I said its good to laugh at yourself but everyone was laughing AT her! She doesn't have to hurry for publicity she will get plenty LONG after she loses. I heard Pethouse has a $3 million offer to show us her tits.

It was obvious that her handlers didn't want her to make of fool of herself (again). So they limited her lines. The opening scene had Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin rip into her, with her only reacting. During the news update Amy Poehler rocked the house with that hilarious rap, with Palin only bobbing her head. If Palin would've done that rap...now that would have been really special.

Yes the episode had great ratings, but it was not because people love her, they wanted see her to embarrass herself again.
