Sarah Weddinton has died

She was a lead attorney and represented Roe at the Supreme Court.

she was only 26 years old in 1973 when she successfully argued Roe vs Wade.

(There weren’t even womens bathrooms yet in the court building then).

she was candid about having had to travel to Mexico to get her own abortion in 1967.

thankful she won’t be around to witness what is happening in reproductive justice next.
