I've had these scabs on my cock for at least a month now. Do they look like friction burns?

I had one small red (friction burnt?) area and then it seems to have gotten worse.

FYI the white bits on my cock (in the creases most noticeably) are sudocrem which I've been putting on it.

Its quite sore when I masturbate.

And if I need to see a doctor who exactly do I see? Urologist? GUM clinic? GP?

Doesn't look like herpes to me since there are no blisters or sores and the scabs are about in the areas where I grip my cock in my fingers.

I just wish it would go away.

It went away tho then I think I masturbated and it started all over again. Maybe I'm just too rough on myself?

Think I'll try and leave it alone til Friday and if its still there I'll see a doctor.

But has no one else ever had this same thing? I find that hard to believe with hundreds of thousands of members.

Not really switched soaps or anything, I started using shower gel but I've used it before without problems.

I remember the night before the scabs appeared I had been masturbating very "vigorously".

not a DR here but i'd start with a urologist.
if you masturbate a lot (and we all do) - try some lotion for dry skin - not to masturbate with, it's too thick, but when you're not workin it
if you're dry under your foreskin too? i don't know what then as i don't have all of my foreskin (thankful they did leave some though).
good luck Mate

The other thing is I tried masturbating with baby oil recently and it STUNG a lot (I assume because the skin is not healed still). I think that may have irritated it more.

It seems to have flared up again around the time I started using the baby lotion. Because it went away and then I decided to buy the baby lotion and thats when it came back as it is now.

It looks like simple eczema to me, in which case Sudocrem or E45 cream help to retain moisture and are easy to buy in supermarkets. You should visit your GP to confirm it and get a prescription for a topical steroid cream. If you prefer to remain anonymous, then visit your local GUM clinic (probably at your nearest hospital), where you don't even have to give your name and they will probably give you some cream there and then.

You may be allergic to your soap/shower gel/bubble bath or your laundry detergent/fabric conditioner or even the fabric of your underwear. Some people are allergic to rubber/latex which is used in elastic in underpants (not just the waistband) and socks.

Sounds like very good advice to me.
The GP should be easily up to the task. No need for any sort of specialist.

I think some baby oil has a substance in it to which some people are quite allergic.
Just a thought.

But basically, the OP probably needs to put his cock away for a few days, even though he has probably forgotten that that is possible.
But it really is.
And his cock will thank him.
His skin needs time for a full recovery.

Yeah I was thinking of going to the GUM clinic at the hospital for 'other tests' so might do that but don't want to scare anyone with my scabby cock!

We have had cold weather recently and I have chapped skin on my thigh so could be some of that...

I'll try and keep my hands off it. Hopefully the Sudocrem will help and if not I'll make an appointment.

The scabs make me think the Sudocrem isn't working but I think that's what its supposed to do. Doesn't help that I keep picking the scabs either, I guess?

FFS, stop masturbating and get your arse to a doctor whether it's for a diagnosis or a recommendation to see a specialist !

If you're going to masturbate anymore, your dick is gonna fall off then you won't have a big cock for the ladies to love ;)

(PS. I'm sure you know it won't fall off, but I'm being sarcastic !

I once had a "Yeast Infection" on the outside of my piece. I did not know men got them. The Dr. was a freak, said looks like yeast and acted like a little girl, like ewwwww! He was out of that room in less than a minute. He perscribed some lotion that worked great. Never did learn how I got it.

You'll be very surprised in the number of ways you can get a yeast infection, and that doesn't necessary always have to involve sex. You can even get the same kind of vaginal yeast infection IN your mouth too. :/

I know exactly what it is because I have dealt with the same thing before.

I used to get it when I would get pretty rough and was using soap or shampoo to jerk off with or just water. Its a friction burn and the white scab like things are a excretion that helps it heal.

You just need to go a while without jerking off till they fall off by themselves or can be easily pulled off without any stinging.

From there on out use skin lotion for a month or so and be gentler on your cock. I'm speaking from experience here. :)

i was gonna say yeast infection

get yourself down to the drug store.. anything with tioconazole is your friend. if you don't wanna buy monistat the same anti-fungal is the active ingredient in most athlete's foot treatments. 6.5% ticonazole is what you are looking for. use it for a couple of days. every day.

wash your sheets, your drawers and jeans in hot water. toss a cup of white vinegar in with each load.

most important.. leave ya peen alone for a couple of days. and make a doctor's appointment if things *your thing* doesn't clear up.
