Okay I'll try leaving it alone! Its just that whenever I "pop wood" I feel like I have a duty to ejaculate .

And ncsdude: 100,000+ members I was hoping one would be a doctor

I'll ring the GUM clinic today too and arrange an appointment, I'm due for a checkup anyway.

I'll get some E45 cream as well as I think a lack of moisture / too much heat is a part of the problem.

Thanks for all the advice

I looked up yeast infections and eczema on the penis on Google Images and they looked quite a bit more severe than what I have.

But anyway we'll see what the cock doc says.

PS it looked like something out of a horror film this morning.

Obviously Inco, don't take our advice to heart - we're not doctors, it's best to make an appointment and have it looked at.

That being said however, to me it appears to be a mixture of dry skin and friction burn. You could try buying some aqueous cream which you can get from any over the counter pharmacy - it's basically moisturising lotion but it should work well. Apply it after every time you shower/bathe. That may clear some of it up, as the skin does look rather dry.

Should you wish to pursue this here further, the zinc ointment and focus are obscuring the view.

A wash and more light perhaps?

Probably eczema or psoriasis. Try a coal tar shampoo and hydrocortisone cream and use albolene when you masturbate, not baby oil.

Do not use hydrocortizone! It will work, but it's just covering up symptoms and you will become dependent on it just to keep it looking ok, but what is really happening is that you are thinning the skin and you will have trouble with it forever... go to a doctor - dermatologist...

Its not "nasty" it just looked worse than it was. I'll post some new pics when I've had a shower and there's no ointment residue on my cock

Do not use hydrocortizone!
Yes. Steroids thin the skin which leads to bruising and tearing
(and allow for other infections.) Why you should seek professional
medical diagnosis and supervision if things don't improve.
Those side-effects would hardly help, beating the meat. :biggrin1:

Go to a doctor, looks like a yeast infection or jock itch or a rash etc...do not self medicate that because it could be a myriad of things, and trying to cure it yourself could make it worse...even worse idea since the skin is so sensitive.

Honestly this isn't anything as bad as you're all making it out to be. His pic sucked, but I recognized it immediately. The skin is too tight, so when you masturbate as you slide the foreskin over your head it stretches. With any moisture from lube or spit or precum w/e when your skin is like that its like licking your lips in cold weather, they split and crack when it dries out. You said you were "vigorous" well that's definately part of the problem. Don't whack so furiously and don't let it dry out, and everything will be fine.

I used to have this problem waay more back before I had stretched my foreskin out to allow my head to come out without splitting. But its just still kinda tight so when I jerk too often in a day or two it starts to get raw and then cracking/splitting. Be mindful after you heal up and you'll be fine!

I had what looks like from your pictures an almost identical problem. It was entirely on the outside foreskin from the pucker back to where the glands attached to the shaft. When I pulled the foreskin back the skin would just tear and bleed. I lived with this about a year before seeing a doctor. It was diagnosed as plaque psoriasis which is an auto immune disease. One problem with psoriasis is that it destroys the elasticity of skin making it easy to tear and bleed. Unfortunately; after another year or so with treatment and poor results I developed phymosis (and BXO) from the scar tssue at the pucker of the foreskin and was circumcised. Good luck with yours...

Pardon me if I repeat what someone else say, I don't have the time right now to read through all the replies. If you've used anything out of the ordinary for lubricant it could very well be chemical burns. I highly doubt if it's an infection or disease since there appears to be no redness present.

I'd say lay off any and all stimulation for a while and use a bar soap such as Dial to bathe with (liquid body wash sometimes contains chemicals that can mess with your skin). If that doesn't start helping after a few days I'd rush to the doctor if I were you. That's not something that you want to have permanent damage on.

I once had a "Yeast Infection" on the outside of my piece. I did not know men got them. The Dr. was a freak, said looks like yeast and acted like a little girl, like ewwwww! He was out of that room in less than a minute. He perscribed some lotion that worked great. Never did learn how I got it.

You'll be very surprised in the number of ways you can get a yeast infection, and that doesn't necessary always have to involve sex. You can even get the same kind of vaginal yeast infection IN your mouth too. :/

i was gonna say yeast infection

get yourself down to the drug store.. anything with tioconazole is your friend. if you don't wanna buy monistat the same anti-fungal is the active ingredient in most athlete's foot treatments. 6.5% ticonazole is what you are looking for. use it for a couple of days. every day.

wash your sheets, your drawers and jeans in hot water. toss a cup of white vinegar in with each load.

most important.. leave ya peen alone for a couple of days. and make a doctor's appointment if things *your thing* doesn't clear up.

Anything that throws off your bodies Ph can result in a yeast infection. I was really sick and way overdoing Vitamin C and drinking a gallon of Orange Juice a day. I am cut but I still managed to throw off my body and ended up with a yeast infection.

I put Miconazole (Gyna-Lotramin) 3 day cream on the affected area and it cleared right up. Layed off the OJ and was back to tearing it up within a week.

Its not dry rot -wrong colour.
I suspect your skin has been burnt or that your member has had an allergic reaction
to something. However, change any skin creams you have been using. Adding a latex
cover will only cause sweating -not good. Then if the condition does not improve seee the medics. Fungal attacks are usually associated with damp sweaty conditions, so change your underwear style plus washing powder. Allergies are somntimes difficult to master.
Good luck - meantime have a care were you put your member.

ICN, There's some good advice here mixed in with (in my opinion) some very bad. Any suggestion to self-diagnose and treat is way off base. It took Fleur (a woman, no less, to whom many thanks!) in Link 33 to summarize it well: see a doctor right away if you've not already done so (a dermatologist might be best to start with). Just don't let him advise you to get circumcised (unless there's BXO, which doesn't appear likely--but if it's diagnosed as such, be sure to get several diagnoses that agree, beyond any trace of a doubt). Not sure about Britain, but the majority of doctors in America are virtually clueless when it comes to the foreskin--their immediate, reflex action is to reach for a scalpel (pays them and their hospitals handsomely, too!).

Your problem could be one or more of many things, including any one or more allergies...aggravated by too "vigorous" wanking if the foreskin is too tight or dry. A good specialist is probably your best bet. After you're cured, you might try extra-virgin (no pun) olive oil as a lubricant if you need one--very mild, very sensual (though intact, I sometimes use it for the special erotic sensation). Your photos indicate that, after you heal, you might be well advised to try GENTLE stretching exercises. You'll find some by searching the web for "foreskin stretching"--and I've been told by another Intactivist that Marilyn Milos at nocirc.org has some that she recommends.

(1) Consult a doctor now, and (2) let us know how it turns out.

Wishing you all the best of luck with it...!
