I never slept at school, but i never went to class either, we used to sit around the oval and just socialise all day, and on the rare occasion my teacher would come and look for us we actually went to class, but our teachers were cool, they still helped us with stuff, and i passed everything. It was cool.

Keep your head up and finish bud.

    You Can do it.

All this will pay off in the end. It might not seem like it right now...but it Will pay off bigtime when your done.

yeah! I am a retired teacher and some teachers can be BORING! Hopefully you will get some teachers that make the learning interesting and relevant.

In the meantime, figure out what you are going to have to know later on and learn that. Sometimes some lessons in life aren't easy, learning in school can be one of them.

Huge advocate of school. The teacher is not the enemy...REALLY. It sounds trite but get enough sleep. Watch eating to much carb at lunch or it makes you tired for afternoon classes. Do homework before dinner so when it is done...it is done and the rest of the eve. is yours. This time now is an investment in the future.

Cube, you know in this small statement you have summed up exactly where I went...WRONG! ;)

Jeez, I could never get things done and always left homework/studies to the last minute. I think I'm still feeling the negative effects of that behaviour in my life today, you know.

Calebshung, I hope you don't mind me saying this but try to follow what Cube says here. I think it's such great advice! ;)

Hope school goes well for yer mate.

    Ian.

Stick with it , kid. It'll pay off in the end. Wish that as an undergraduate that I had not slept and partied so much. A few years later when I got to graduate school, I suprised myself with how well I could actually do academically!
