isn't this just sad? i mean, what's she going to do now? why is she villified for this? i thought it was a courageous battle for her and brave of her to fight it.

what does she do now? what are her choices? she tried to right her life and do something positive and now she's penalized for it?

Theyre treating her like she's a criminal. I bet Casey Anthony could get a job teaching school, but this girl can't?

i think it says deeply profound and sad things about our puritanical society.

yup, it really really sucks. what gets me is how disrespectful and rude the students seemed to be once they found out. When i heard in grade 8 my teacher had a porn past, i looked at her in a whole new light as a badass, not a slut or anything degrading..

we've all got pasts. sucks hers it now internationally known in the wrong light.

It's not sad. You can't possibly expect her students to respect her and that it would have zero impact on her teaching her performance.

With that said, she said she did porn because of financial difficulties I saw in one article. Should have done prostitution instead.

Whether or not she had money problems I don't feel bad because she is an adult and knew what she was getting into. Many people face financial issues and fix them without going into porn. It appeared to me that she looked for an easy way out and tried covering it up.
If I was a father, I would not want her teaching around my children. She should not have been allowed to become a teacher in the first place. Were was the background check? we all make choices and mistakes but we have to live with them.

if i made a choice to steal money from my job so i wouldn't get evicted, i would have to live with my decision if I later got fired.

It's good to see that she got out of the porn industry but she should not have used children to cover up her past.

If your a teacher then part and parcel of your role is to impart a good moral code. So yes your past is important if you are going to become a teacher, because if she turned to porn when she hit financial hardship, then what message is she imparting to young minds? Turning to prostitution or porn as a quick money fix is not deemed as acceptable in most societies, waiting on tables or other such work takes a lot longer to pay the bills, but you've not sold your body.

She made a bad decision to turn to porn for money and she also made a bad decision to go into teaching. There are lots of jobs she could have gone into and still can, after she left the porn industry. Going into porn and teaching just shows that she fails to think things through and consider the consequences of her actions.

Her porn name was Tiffany Six, I been jerking to this for the last 20 minutes. She's not half bad. I wonder if the whole teacher job/get outted/get fired was her way of gaining fame and exposure. I'm sure she wasn't a big name star before but now I'd bet my moneyshot (hehe) that she's being downloaded and viewed by millions.

About the only job left with a morals clause in the contract. Another reason why teachers should be paid more. You are paying for their outside work behavior and that should be worth something.

Wow, I was under the impression she had done porn before becoming a teacher but in the beginning of the video during the interview stage she talks about being a teacher and how risky it is doing porn and the implications of being caught. Her and the interviewer seem to really play this up as a selling point, as if she wanted people to know.

it's not like she was teaching at Harvard. i feel like she should be judged on her present record. is she a good teacher? are her kids making good grades? are they learning?

honestly, if my science teacher was that beautiful and in porn, i would be staying after class all day and it would probably be my best subject.

there are tons of terrible teachers out there who get by.

if she was still doing porn while teaching, that would be an offense, but for a woman to try to go straight and be productive, and then penalize her for it, is hypocrisy.

society constantly condemns porn for the degradation of women, but here is a woman doing good, trying to improve her station, what do we do? we penalize her for it. we make it impossible for her to get a job and assimilate into society.

it's dreadful, terrible, shameful... i hope they will help her find a job somewhere else. otherwise, what are her other options?

this might be the best out of all the reason why she was fired.

not to mention, i don't want my tax dollars paying the salary of some whore.

and i completely agree, there are some teachers that don;t do their jobs, and i wish there was something to do about it but there is always some union in the way.

There was a time in this countries history that Unions worked for the greater good but lately they do more harm.
just know that a teacher has to do something really bad in order to get fired.

depends on the overal story, if she lied about her past she could have lied about anything and you don't trust people with kids who can't be trusted to tell the truth on a job application

now onto the important stuff, lets see the porn!

You know I have two friends that were in situations that really kind of fit in to this, and I don't have any real sympathy for the girl.

One friend couldn't be a teacher anymore because he was arrested for assult, it dosn't matter that he had an arguably good reason (he got into a fight with a guy who was beating up a girl) all that matters is he was technically arrested for assult during the time he was a teacher, and that meant he couldn't be one anymore. That is a much better reason to go and do something then "financial difficulty" so I don't feel a damned bit bad for this chick.

A female friend of mine, well former friend I don't really talk to her anymore come to think of it but she wanted to be a teacher and in her state you have to be out of the adult industry for 5 years to be a teacher, she was a stripper and that qualifies where she is or where she wanted to teach I forget. So she has to wait and then see if she can.

All I can say is if you screw for money I don't really want you teaching middleschool kids, then agian how did these middleschool kids find porn on the internet? Shouldn't they be studying

... i think it says deeply profound and sad things about our puritanical society ...

Not really. She was intentionally deceitful in trying to hide her past when she applied for the job. That's not the sort of character you want in someone who you are going to trust with your kid's development.

isn't this just sad? i mean, what's she going to do now? ...

What she should do now is seek out a teaching position where her past will not be an issue. And most importantly do so honestly and without all the deceit.

ha. you think she was fired because she lied? wow. that's pretty naive.

I have warned about this in other threads where people were asking if they should do porn. As someone who works in the education industry myself, I know that my career would be over in a second if I had ever done porn, or posted naked pictures of myself online. This is the reason why I will never put nude pics of myself on this site or any other. It is just not worth the risk. I was the epitome of a starving student when I was in university, but never did anything that would come back to haunt me later. It sucked having to work long hours for low pay as a starving student, but looking back, I'm gald I did rather than having done something that could ruin my career now.

It sucks that she got fired, but it's the way the world is, so it's not at all surprising to me that it happened. I'd be willing to bet that the same people who fired her watch porn regularly themselves. Ah, the hypocrisy!

Normally I'd agree with you but you've got it all wrong. She hadn't moved on and changed her life it was entirely the opposite. She was a teacher who decided to go into porn. I thought the same thing you did, that she had quit the biz and was trying to better herself but that's not the case. Watch the porn film posted on the last page and listen to the conversation she has with the interviewer. She's clearly admitting to already being a teacher, wanting to get into porn, and the risks to her career for doing so. She's almost promoting the fact as sales pitch.
