The very handsome man running for Ted kennedys old senate seat posed nude in cosmopolitan in 82. Anyone have the pics? He is hot and the magazine suggested he has on heck of a stimulus package.

He called me the other night. At first I couldn't tell if the call was from a real person or a recording. The he asked if he could count on me for my vote. Slightly taken aback that he was really on the line and waiting for my answer, I hung up on him. I felt bad about it, but I didn't know anything about him or his platform, so I didn't know what to say. And I don't like being put on the spot like that.

Listening to the radio this morning, I learned that he's the Republican candidate, and liberals/progressives think think his plans and policies are old school Washington conservativism--exactly what the country does NOT need right now. Although I hadn't planned to vote in the upcoming election, I've realized how important it is that the Democrats retain control over the Senate seat formerly occupied by the late Ted Kennedy, so I will be voting against Scott Brown. (He probably shouldn't have called me.)

Glad to see you oppose groupthink there. But I agree with you. Reaching outside one's traditional party base is a total waste of time, as you have proven. Brown should have figured out by now that all gays are liberals, just like we figured out all Republicans are hateful homophobes. I mean engaging only those who claim to agree with us has really paid off, hasn't it? I agree with Barney Frank, the two most effective special interest groups in DC are the NRA and AARP. They don't align with either party out of blind loyalty. They help those who help them, they work quietly behind the scenes and they usually get what they want.

How the fuck do you think we're in the mess? Progressives have been fucking up things since 1914. We need freedom and less government. Obama has sent us feet first into the next great depression.

Shaking my head, you just don't get it, the damage was done before he got into office. In order to get the big picture you need to step back a little and look at what needs to be done first. Would you build a house starting with the roof or begin building a strong foundation? Apparently Obama and elective officials are shoring up the foundation so when the house (Job market) will have true grounds to stand upon. Only time will tell!

In regards to cri: Obama was in office not six months, and the recession hit. These things don't happen over night, and the cause was George W. Bush and his multi-billion dollar war for oil. He doesn't give a shit about the people of any country, the only reason he wants Al-Qaeda (and succeeded in removing Husein) out of the way is because they stand between him and the massive oil reserves of the Middle East. The conflict in the Middle East caused the recession, not a black president.

To get back to the man, he looks attractive in a "boy next door" kind of way, albeit probably a bit more attractive than most boys next door.

Hand is artfully placed to we get an eyeful of dark pubic hair but no hint of what's behind, any pics of this potential member's actual member ?

I know the damage was done before he took office. I said he's sending us feet first into the next great depression. The recession is the cure. All Obama has done is prolonged the necessary adjustment was trillions of dollars of new spending and a flamboyant monetary policy.

The government can not create jobs or sure up the market. Government can only destroy jobs and further missallocate resources from productive people and industries.

Obama has just requested 700 billion dollars for wars and the military next year. If you think that's what caused the problem (in which it did have a tremendous effect), than solving the problem would mean less spending and less wars (sounds like a good idea to me!).

Spending was the cause of the recession. But you have to understand the root of the issue. How were people and the government able to spending and borrow so much money? The Federal Reserve. Artificially low interest rates cause the boom bust cycle. The governments solution? Lower interest rates and cheaper money. And don't forget more spending and more borrowing.

We needed a great recession; we're getting the next great depression.

And they allow idiots like you to vote? Brown announced his decision to enter the race back in early September. If you are so uninformed as to not even know whiich candidate is running or to which party they belong; you should be kept from the voting line. If you base all your voting decisions entirely on which party you favor and not upon whatever ideas or actions the person may have taken or be planning to take, you are no better than the majority of the politicians throughout the country who only vote according to party line having no spine or ideas to which they can or will completely commit.

You claim that Mr.Brown called you. Well that was your golden opportunity to question him and put him in the hot seat. You could have learned what his beliefs are and made an informed decision instead of such nonsense as 'important that the Democrats retain control'. That alone and with no thought of what a person stands for is not a reason to vote for a person.

I'm gay and I'm not liberal. And most of my friends are Republicans and none of them are hateful homophobes. In fact, the ones I know are just the opposite.

So stop stereotyping. Everyone is different.

Hey Cri, where were you conservative, tea dumping motherfuckers when Bush borrowed and borrowed and borrowed to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Money we did not have. It did not create jobs, it certainly didn't make gas cheaper, and it certainly would not have stopped the Christmas day bomber from blowing up that plane had he succeeded.

Where were the cries of socialism when Bush used billions of taxpayer money to bail out Wall Street? I thought the free enterprise system was suppose to take care of itself without government interference, right? they sure readily took that government money didn't they? If it's to benefit rich white people, then it's OK. If it benefits the poor or minorities, then it's socialism.

Conservatives like to spend taxpayer's money alright, and to the trillions, so long as it doesn't threaten to change the socioeconomic status of the United States, in other words, so long as it doesn't benefit black folks.

do the same thing here. I try and take time to decide what they stand for..and also I have to admit..does the person strike me as slime or a basiclly ok person...a politican but not a slime. hard to tell sometimes I admit, but I try.

yes..agree totally! how is it that people that are supposedly so liberal and open minded can be so hateful..the exact thing they accuse the other side of! there are good...and bad people ...across all political spectrums.
