I think the confusion is stemming from the fact there are two Scott Taylors who have been involved in porn.
The one with whom this thread is concerned was born in 1954 as Scott Taylor Hampton, and died as a consequence of AIDS-related illnesses on 22 December 1994. He bequeathed his body to medical science.
The other Scott Taylor (his real name) is a porn director/producer who's been connected with the industry since the mid-1980s, and who first worked as a director at his company New Sensations from 1990 onwards. He's alive and well, as per this 2004 interview.
