Scrotal ring/band for pumping?

I'm trying to find out what kind of ring/band people use around their balls while pumping, to keep the testicles from being pressed up against the pump.

It is just a normal cock ring? How small/tight should it be? What do you guys use if anything at all?

It's not irritating? Seems like it would easily pinch the skin or just be uncomfortable.

I've been pumping for at least 15 years and never had any issues requiring a ring or band for that purpose. My scrotum is rather tight, my balls don't hang much, perhaps that's a factor?
