I doubt the doc that cut u had any idea ur dick was gonna need all that skin. If he saw it today he'd probably think "nice job".

I've seen in a lot of diagrams and pictures that the scrotum starts at the base of the penis, but for me it seems to start an inch or two above the base on my shaft. :/ None of my current pictures show it too well, but in my verification photo you should be able to see some flaps of skin attached to my shaft:

You might be able to see it in this photo, too, because I'm angling my dick sideways, but it's not that clear or close-up:

It's annoying when I'm jacking off because I'll catch that flap of skin when I rub down, and when I rub up sometimes I seem to carry my balls with the skin and my balls bang against each other when I do that and, well, it hurts. Often, I have to hold down my balls so that doesn't happen.

My point is: I haven't really seen something like that on other guys on here, so is this normal?
My is about 1 to 2 inches below my base.

Penis/Scrotal Surgery
Congenital and acquired abnormalities of the penis and scrotum are not uncommon and require reconstructive surgery. Because these deformities can be very challenging, a team approach is often used. Therefore, I frequently operate on these patients with Dr. Richard Ehrlich, a world-renowned pediatric and reconstructive urologist. I believe that the combined input and expertise of a pediatric urologist on congenital cases and a plastic surgeon/urologist (myself) provides the best possible care.

Plastic Surgeon Beverly Hills, Gary Alter, MD - Penis / Scrotal Surgery Specialist: Hypospadias, Espisadias, burried penis, hidden penis, Peyronie's Disease, Testicle Implants, Intersex
Various congenital and acquired deformities of the scrotum can be reconstructed. If the entire scrotum is enlarged with lymphedema, or another irreversible cause, a new scrotum can be reconstructed from skin grafts. The new scrotum can appear remarkably normal.

You can get it removed by surgery so that you show a longer shaft. Minor surgery.

Probably so, in theory. But finding a competent doctor to do minor cosmetic surgery of that nature could be difficult. How would most guys feel about explaining the desire for the surgery to a doctor? Then there is the matter of cost and it is unlikely that insurance would pay for it. It would be interesting to explain to one's employer why one is taking a few days off from work to change the appearance of his genitals, but of course one could invent another story.

Would it really be worth it?

The examples in the link were so horrible that I found it difficult to look at them. The patients were fortunate to have surgery that restored some degree of normality. However, there is a difference between having surgery to solve real problems and having surgery to make minor cosmetic changes.

Ive got the turkey neck too, and im uncircumcised. It also means i get some light hair where it joins around the shaft. I have taken to shaving it regularly to keep it silky smooth, albeit very veiny.

Mine is the same way, and i'm cut. Apparently the dr that cut me had no idea that I was going to have a big cock.

Really wish I hadn't been cut at birth, but can't do anything about it...

Actually you can, but it's questionable whether it's worth it.

Procedures to reverse circumcision have been known for more than 2000 years. St. Paul even alludes to it. In ancient times, athletes in Greece competed nude. Jews in Greece had a problem because an exposed glans was considered indecent, so procedures to reverse circumcision were developed.

+1 catharsis my sack starts on my shaft too. And getting overly excited while jerking can feel like a good kick in the nuts afterward which is great :( if that is what you are going for. And as for surgery- no way is a knife touching my junk on a voluntary basis. It may make your dick look longer but you have a nice one already. Just learn to live with it and maybe shave your nuts and get them sucked as often as possible. A good nut suck on freshly shaved balls will make you forget all your problems.
