I’ve been trying to quantify/classify/describe the “eras” of SC. How many does everyone think there are? Like, maybe:

2001-2008, the early years
2008-2011, the hot years, pre-bareback
2011-2015, the hot years, bareback
2015-present, sale to MindGeek, precipitous decline in quality

I think that's probably spot on. There are some signs that the site may be finding some stability, but I'm not terribly optimistic.

I would have to say my only criticism of the earlier vids, the really early ones, would be the lack of kissing. I personally love to see the models make out and it's noticeably infrequent for the first couple of years of the site's vids I think.

Noticed the same thing.
Most likely to do with the fact many of the guys were gay4pay and kissing was the one line they wouldn't cross.
