If I seem cynical about the explanation that these older files will be restored, it is because Sean Cody has been doing this for years. I think we can excuse the original owner from deleting videos he appeared in (I think he was embarrassed and/or in a relationship when he sold it), but older videos have been deleted before.

Who knows? Just saying that I noticed older videos kind of "vanishing" for a while but the original owner at least gave an explanation for intentional deletions while MindGeek has been silent.
