I just paid for a monthly membership. It wasn't a trial, but it was a discount ($14.99 through another site). I heard there was a way to pay another $14.99 for downloads, but I can't find it. There was an option to buy premium when I signed up, but it was like $34.97 and I assumed that wasn't it.

Try the billing company directly, not the SC site... CCbill or whatever option you used. Many times, they can offer deals/discounts beyond whats offered on the site directly,including adding on download capability. Good luck.

That was last year. They cancelled my subscription because I paid with Visa and that was back during the Pornhub debacle when Visa cancelled them and they couldn't accept Visa payments. I haven't re-subbed because it's not worth it. Thank you for the attempt at helping, but unless/until SC gets their act together, I wouldn't even think of re-subscribing.

That said, most of that simply isn't true.

The number of paying customers for most porn sites has plummeted over the last decade or so. There have been lots of articles about this.

I'm sure it has plummeted even more due to the lack of new material being produced during the pandemic, as well as the financial strain on consumers who have lost jobs and have limited disposable income. Will it ever recover? Who knows, but certainly not to 2015 or 2010 levels.

The volume of professional porn being produced has plummeted too, and this was true even before the pandemic. Look at how many scenes SC and CF used to post each week at their height, five-ten years ago. And look at how much more skillfully produced they were, with a continuous roster of attractive fresh faces each week.

We absolutely do know what performers are making, many have talked about it, the pay is a fraction of what it was a decade ago. Places like SC can't afford to pay what they did in their heyday.

Add to that the fact that Mindgeek hoovered up so many porn sites, and is now in a financially precarious situation.

The glory days of 2010-2015 for professionally produced, high-quality porn are over.

There are definitely a few OnlyFans performers making a fortune, I've read about them, but the vast majority are still struggling and just using it as supplementary income.

Yep, you know what you are talking about. The fact is, the kind of porn made 10+ years ago is not being made as much today. And the days of 30-40 min videos are over. Why bother? when they can monetize short clips for the same amount as a longerclip? (meaning attaching ads to the clip to watch, like a jerk mate ad, etc). And the younger generations of porn watchers view it on their phones, in short clips, like tick tok, instagram, etc. Short attention spans, these kids nowadays. I hope they bring the old content back if they can, because as we have discussed on here endlessly, we love us some old school Sean Cody, and clearly most of the new stuff they are doing doesn't come close to the authentic, unfiltered and unexpected activity the SC boys enthusiastically participated in, before they were thinking about their "brand" or their Oonlyfans or their escorting, etc. There was a newness and a fresh approach that was spontaneous and fun. Everyone is too self aware of their perfomances now. It's like putting a camera in front of a Kardashian. They know how they want to present themselves. I like waching Archie is action, but frankly, he is a perfect example of a very cultivated appearance and perfomance. It is never spontaneous. It is performed. But you look back on a performer like Liev or Calvin or Abe, and they were there to do what they agreed to and make money at the same time, And maybe they would be surprised at how much they enjoyed it and stepped outside of their heteronormative lives, even if it was only temporary.

No, they took all the pre-2015 videos down temporarily for "maintenance" but it's likely for auditing due to the MindGeek/PornhHub/Visa-MasterCard debacle. They said the old pre-2015 scenes will be back up in the coming weeks.

Or, months (going on month 7 now... You can put them back anytime, SC... Holding breath... passing out...)!

MG, who owns SC, also acquired the old Boysfirsttime website awhile back. Their library is now totally gone. MG has the anti-Midas touch: everything they touch turns to shit.

If this hasn't been covered: Garrett got his start at the Denver-based Pat and Sam studio, then made his move to SC and others. He also did at least one scene for a major studio (Falcon, I think) with Trent Stone, who he first worked with at Pat and Sam. They also did a photoshoot for the shortlived 2 magazine. I think the main name he used was Rusty Wood, though the Falcon scene was as Joel Drake. His SC scene with Patrick is the only one I ever saw where he bottomed.

He was one of my favorites and it's a shame he only did a couple of movies.
In addition to the Pat & Sam stuff and Falcon, he also starred in California Gold 2, Carnal Haze for Jet Set Men and Too Good To Be True for Studio 2000.
Last stuff he did was with Trent Stone and they both retired.
Wonder if they were a couple?
