I remember last year, SUGP was reporting that some "big name" model was supposed to be joining the site....which never happened. Though, to be fair, that could be more the fault of SUGP than anything. The person that runs it is known for dishonesty, exaggeration and stating his opinions as "facts".
I think Nixon might have been the most notable semi-recent return. I think that had what you would call "a mixed reaction" from the fans. And he only did one video upon returning.
