The best James Bond performer ever who was starring in 7 successful Bond movies has left us at the age of 90 on the Bahamas, Connery was one of the most handsome men in the world of cinema, started as bodybuilder before he played some small roles and had his first big success in Another Time, another Place (1958) next to Lana Turner. His first Bond movie in 1962 titled Dr. No was his international breakthrough and the beginning of an incredible career which kept till 2003.
He was the leading man in many great and unique film productions such as Marnie with Tippi Hedren, Murder on the Orient Express with Lauren Bacall, Robin and Marian with Audrey Hepburn, The Name of the Rose with Christian Slater, The Untouchables with Kevin Costner, The Russia House with Michelle Pfeiffer or Family Business with Dustin Hoffman just to mention a few of his famous films.
He was voted sexiest man alive in 1989 and even Sexiest Man of the Century in 1999. A man who seemed to be ageless and who got more attractive the older he got, a real phenomenon. He entertained and delighted different generations in the last decades being a real gentleman who received a knighthood in 2000 by Queen Elizabeth. Connery won an Oscar for his role in The Untouchables and different Golden Globes plus many international awards for his great performances.
Now he died at the age of 90. He will be living in our hearts. May he rest in heavenly peace...
