Anyone ever have any luck using the "search" function. I can't even find threads that I know exist.

I use it once in a while. When looking for a thread, I search by a word or two that I recall from the thread title. If I type in the whole thread title, a misspelling or spacing issue kills the results.

A few times a year. I title search first so there are fewer results to sift. Keyword search is a last resort because results are enormous. Sometimes I find what I'm looking for, sometimes not.

Sometimes I go back through my own messages but with over 3,000 it can take more time. It helps if I remember how recently I messaged.

yes I have had problems with it. I agree with the above statement and try to remember a word or two from the thread or title of the thread and it helps. Sometimes I'll toggle the search titles only option. It's just a lot of tinkering with this option and that option to get it right. Hell, even then you may not find it. I've had that issue a few times. Not enough to complain about it.

So it's not just my ineptitude! I usually end up searching my own content but that can take ages as was stated above. A very small problem to have these days!

Has anyone ever been able to find the ultimate classic legendary post by Madame Zora from circa 2006? It seems SEARCH is limited on how far back it will go. Frustrating.

What was the post? I remember her. Alex 8, Jeff Black, Doublemeat Woper (oops) the good old days.
