Whew! The one that got to me was the one that says:

"I cried for Anakin Skywalker in Episode III
but I didn't cry for the Tsunami victims."

I hope that one never becomes a parent!

That is a very good site, lets us get an insight to just how fragile some people feel, and how we lie to each other and ourselves.

Pecker, I don't think judgement of anyone who posts on that site is very productive, How can one be able to freely divulge their secrets when they think they'll be judged harshly. Of course that person would make a good parent if not a great parent, just because you don't mourn the death of thousands of strangers does not make you a horrible human being.

Let he who has yet to sin....

I think the one that shocked me the most was the "everyone who knew me before 9 11 thinks I'm dead"

I think my mouth hit the floor with that, I mean some friends and I had discussed how easily it would be for some to do that...but if thats actually true...... Its shocking.....and I'm not judgeing, its just surprising that something like that, that had been talked about might have actually happened......

Ditto. I can't imagine the extra pain it would cause a family to find out that the person they thought was dead is still alive, and took the opportunity to leave them all instead. Mind-boggling.

Imagine the people that read that post card, that DID lose someone in 9 11. How many of them are wondering if that is thier "dead" someone.

And are being torn between praying that that person is thier lost one and still alive. And hopeing that it isn't because that meant they took the oppotunity to ditch him/her/them. No matter wich scenario, it would rip your heart out, AGAIN.
