If you have a superior mate, that means that you are a superior person. That is why people care. It is part of the human condition.

Those people who are not fixated on societal status are those who already have high status. Since they are of naturally high status, they do not need to concern themselves with maintaning and improving their social status, because that skill comes naturally.

I believe you're wrong in saying that people don't carry these leagues with them into adulthood. Because, they most definitely do. In fact, these leagues are even more complex and the barriers even harder to get through once you reach adulthood.

Yes, high status women do not date me. They do not date me because I'm not a high status male. I've alluded to, and outright said, this several times. In fact I'm pretty sure I have a blog entry at least tangentially related to that subject.

That's why I'm asking for the point of that response. You aren't making any kind of argument and you're not saying anything that hasn't been said before.
