If you have a superior mate, that means that you are a superior person. That is why people care. It is part of the human condition.
Those people who are not fixated on societal status are those who already have high status. Since they are of naturally high status, they do not need to concern themselves with maintaning and improving their social status, because that skill comes naturally.
First Syllogism:
Premise 1: Since Wally is concerned about what others think about him when he chooses a date, it seems that he is is fixated on social status. (As mentioned in earlier posts on this thread.)
Premise 2: According to his own words (quoted above), those who are fixated on social status are not high status people.
Conclusion: According to his own logic, Wally is not a high status person.
Second Syllogism:
Premise 1: High status people will choose dates with other high status people. (As deduced from Wally's previous comments.)
Premise 2: According to the previous syllogism, Wally is not a high status person.
Conclusion: High status women will avoid dating Wally.

wally, would it be fair to assume that throughout school you were treated like a worthless piece of shit?
kids are little sods, and there IS a league system at school but it's something people don't usually carry on through their lives.

Yes, high status women avoid dating me. That's true. Your point is...?
I don't need to make the point. You made it already. I just put your own words together in a logically coherent way.
are you one of those who says to a woman, you like me and have sex with me therefore you are an idiot?
So who does date you? And are you one of those who says to a woman, you like me and have sex with me therefore you are an idiot?
As I've said before, I date women of equally low status. These woman are always either ugly, insane or in some way damaged to the point that they can't get a better partner.
And do you actually like any of them?
Or do you date them because you feel a social pressure to date?
That is a very unattractive personality trait. It implies that you only want those without taste and/or affection for you.
If this was directed at me, I was joking :biggrin1: My return to LPSG after a 2 year absence has been marked with nothing but humor. Just trying to stay breezy :newangel:
How about changing the attitude first? How about looking for a woman whom you like for her personality, chemistry with you, brains, etc and skip the outside? I know the outside is what attracts people first, but it is not the basis for a relationship unless you just want to have arm candy.
Seeing an unattractive woman can't be helped. But, fucking one... being blind would certainly help...
