This is one of those weird psychological situations where he "wanted" to get caught whether he consciously knew it or not. Obviously the allure of public/exhibition is the risk of getting caught and this guy was really pushing it beyond any kind of reasonable 'risky fun'.

I'm not blaming or shaming him, just remarking on the situation and how people can escalate into some really crazy situations.

This got Aidan a lot of negative attention - including that of someone who had the video and didn't like what happened on Wednesday. Sometime between Wednesday and Friday, the video was leaked to conservative outlet The Daily Caller, which first broke the story on Friday, of course without naming the source.
