His objectionable online activities were under pseudonyms. After he was hired. Senator Cardin's chief of staff became aware of some of the posts and asked him to "tone it down".

The "LPSG Gay Detective Agency" did not add anything original. The scandal started with when The Daily Caller leaked the video. Most of the rest was via Reddit, with some probably bread-crumbed by whoever supplied the video to The Daily Caller.

My guess is that someone who already disliked Aidan Maese-Czeropski had enough of him, and sent the video to The Daily Caller.

Was the WhatsApp group confined to gay political staffers or any rando DC gay? If it was made up of gay political staffers it could lead to a lot of questions about the material they shared and what they knew and yet remained in the group that could reflect poorly on the office they work for.
