FYI, those Hezbollah deaths were foreign soldiers that had invaded Lebanon and were intervening in their civil war. They died on the battlefield in a theater of war... Hezbollah are SOLDIERS not terrorists. Hezbollah has killed more fucking Al Qaeda and ISIS than any other fighting organization out there (including the US military)... they are on the front lines of fighting Wahhabi/Salafi terrorism.

Are they religious? Yes. Do they have a political presence? Yes, but at the time that those soldiers were killed, they were a group of dedicated Lebanese Nationalist Militants engaged in Guerilla warfare with the IDF who has invaded their country in 1982.

Hezbollah has been wrongly blamed in multiple terror incidents over the years... they have allegedly taken credit for a few but those were in Argentina and Panama.

For those of you outside the US wondering how the heck Trump is pushing all this through...

Unfortunately right now the Republicans control both the House and the Senate. That makes blocking any sort of Republican President's executive order very difficult since in theory, sticking to party lines, the House and Senate would vote down any attempt from the Democrats to block the order.

The great irony here is that before Trump won the Presidency every prominent Republican was speaking out against him. Now though they are lock in step with him because through him they can pass the legislative agenda they've wanted to pass for the last 8 years under Obama.

I've voted Republican in every election since I was old enough to vote...until this year. I couldn't in good conscious vote for this narcissist. Sadly he is proving to be even worse than I had thought he could be. And in just one week!
The House and the Senate had better take care and do something to rescind Trumps orders.
His current immigration stand will only serve to stoke up anti US feelings, wait for it, there will be riots on the streets world wide in protest.
Trump says it was a "computer delay" and only a hundred or so affected, still a hundred to many.
He will NEVER change the order, bullies never do, they hate to be wrong.
If the courts change the ruling it will be a Hilary conspiracy with the judges to make him look bad - so he'll change them for those in his pocket - promises of great things can do a great deal for the power and cash hungry.

This is the type of Constitutional Crisis that most administrations try to avoid. The pissing match over who has the actual authority doesn't strengthen our position in the world. Besides, in such a pissing match, Congress wins.

For those of you who are on the Twitter the @RougePOTUSStaff seems to be a legit party Tweeting from inside the White House. I'm not 100% convinced they are real but they did call his SCOTUS pick several hours before the announcement.

Based on what they're saying it is about as much of a shit show as you'd expect in there.

I am a little old fashioned and somewhat behind the times when it comes to new items in the IT range - never wanted to call my better half when in the supermarket for example...misguidedly I though social media, Twitter, Facebook etc was for social comment but now it seems that the Twitter shareholders are all propping up the "Rule by 140 digits".
Wouldn't it be funny if TWITTER was bought out by a Chinese company......

Is this what we want for our Nation? Have we lost empathy?
Lawyers: ICE detainee with brain tumor removed from hospital
An undocumented immigrant diagnosed with a brain tumor while under Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody was returned to a detention center from a Texas hospital, her lawyers said.

The woman, a Salvadoran national identified only as Sara, was released from Huguley Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, and taken to Prairieland Detention Center against her will, according to her lawyers.

"She told us they tied her hands and ankles in her condition," Melissa Zuniga, a member of Sara's legal team, told The Hill. "She's complaining of a lot of pain."

Is this a correct breakdown?

Woman is in an ICE detention center;
Woman complains of headache and nosebleed;
ICE takes Woman to the Hospital;
Hospital diagnoses a brain tumor;
Doctors want to perform brain surgery to remove tumor;
During the stay at the Hospital, the family threatens to sue as the condition deteriorates;
Family hires an Attorney who says that the Hospital doesn't want the patient because of the suit and the publicity;
ICE picks up the Woman, restrains her, and returns her to ICE detention center;
ICE requires that family visits in such cases be approved in advance and approval of the consulate.
Her Salvadoran consulate has been non-responsive through all of this;
ICE doesn't approve the family visits;

I would totally get mad at ICE, if, the woman hadn't already been in the detention center and, if, ICE came in and blocked treatment in order to begin deportation proceedings; or; the woman was here on a medical visa and this all happened.

It sounds more like the Hospital is abandoning the patient after a lawsuit was threatened.

This headline sounds like a bit of spin and sensationalism, for a bad situation.

Just my impression...

more details:

An undocumented immigrant with a brain tumor was forcibly removed from a hospital by ICE, her lawyers say

On Feb. 10, a 26-year-old undocumented immigrant from El Salvador collapsed at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Texas, after complaining of headaches. She was brought to Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Burleson, where doctors concluded she had a brain tumor, the woman's lawyers tell The Daily Beast. During her only conversation with her mother, on Feb. 19, the woman, identified only as Sara, said she was bleeding heavily through her nose, convulsing, and suffering some memory loss. She has otherwise been barred from communicating with her family.

Family, attorney denied access to hospitalized asylum seeker
Local attorneys working with Kasdan's office said Tuesday that a representative with the Salvadoran consulate of Dallas had been in touch with the family and that ICE officials had said the woman will be moved to a Dallas hospital in the coming days to receive treatment.

Zuniga said she located Beltran Hernandez at Texas Health Huguley Hospital outside Fort Worth a few days after she was admitted. She said she had a brief conversation with the woman on Feb. 13, when Beltran Hernandez said she had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and was being lined up for surgery.

Five days later, she said the woman spoke briefly to her mother on the phone and had forgotten details, including the names of her lawyers she had worked with for 13 months on her asylum case.

"It was clear that she had deteriorated in that time. She sounded groggy and she wasn't remembering things. We became even more concerned," Zuniga said.

Hilarious at all the mainstream media coverage of Trump's few deportations...

DID THEY COVER OBAMA'S DEPORTATIONS AT ALL?!?!? Fuck no they didn't... those deportations were swept so far under the rug that the American public still doesn't know that Obama deported 500,000 more immigrants than GW Bush did... earning Obama the "DEPORTER-IN-CHIEF" title.

How many of these deportations involved hospital deaths or ANYTHING negative.. are we to believe that Obama deported 2.5 million immigrants but NONE of these deportations resulted in an inadvertent death or regrettable severe bodily harm or injury? Lolz

Just more of that double standard where the mainstream media (except for FOX News) licked Obama's nuts 24/7 and 365 days a year for his entire term... while they currently attempt to kick Trump in the nuts 24/7.

When Trump deports more than 2.5 million human beings... THEN THERE IS THE BEGINNINGS OF THE ARGUMENT TO BE MADE THAT TRUMP IS ANTI-IMMIGRANT... until then, he is a junior anti-immigrant who stands in the looming shadow of the GREATEST and most prolific anti-immigrant Deporter-In-Chief Barry O.
