You're a pathetic ignorant

Do you follow my logic ?
Dumb dumb should not even read my post.

CCC - you are NEVER going to stop Religious wars.

Never
Ever
Ever.

You can rant and call people stupid and ignorant.. but in the end it is you for not looking at the big picture.

We're in war because of People shoving their religious views onto others causing hate and discontent.

It's just the way it is.

Government should take a more pro-religious stance by enforcing people's religious beliefs upon themselves.

You can believe whatever you want, the government is just going to help you stick to your beliefs.

Hypocracy is the biggest threat to civil society.

Why would you think that passing laws will increase religious tolerance?

I can understand his frustration, but he's not going about it the right way, or my guess is not thinking clearly.
I can admire his enthusiasm to rally the troops as well. But again - ain't gonna happen in our lifetime.

About the only thing you can do, is what we're doing. Try to educate our young to have open minds - and protect what we currently have.
In my opinion - we need to hammer home more in our home schools that being different is OK and to learn different cultures ways to gain an understanding of why they are.

Underdeveloped territory like the Middle east by my guess have little quality education. With this - they do as they are shown instead.

But even to say that is a bit Hipocritical, isn't it?
For example, here we are....americans preaching on how the world needs to be re-programmed.
Meanwhile.... Our prison system is absolute garbage.
"Correctional Facility" - What are we actually correcting??
Any education programs surely have been cut to save cost and padding the bottom line. So these people just sit in prison and Stew - for years.

I wish they would send them to Boot camp. Supposedly they break a man and rebuild him from ground up. Sounds perfect to me. Sounds like that's what they need.

I'm not discounting our service men at all....but If these are the great slogans we're using to recruit - why wouldn't we use these free resources? Why not have them Serve the country instead of sitting on a bunk watching Opra?

Ones may believe that gay sex is sinful, but it doesn't mean they can interfere on what happened in the privacy of ones' bed room if there are consenting adults are having sex be them hetero, homo or mix ones.

Hypocrisy is the biggest threat on mankind indeed.

The most religious folks are often the most close minded, hypocritical and violence ones on Earth.

I think the most close minded, hypocritical and violent people on Earth are more likely to be fanatical in their faith and not necessarily the most religious.

People of faith have minds of their own and are not automatically propelled to follow the fundamental traditions. As much as i hate religion in it's organised form it is unfair to tar the whole congregation for one parishioners sin.

Hmm that's interesting, and probably true.

I know people who've been pretty unhinged and way-out generally (in a kinda hedonistic way), and they're usually the ones who go all gung-ho when they discover religion, and don't really think it through.

There are thoughtful religious people too, but maybe they don't speak up so much? Also, there are more reserved, pleasant ones that are often more likely to quietly toe the line religiously, and that means not questioning stuff - which is a pity. (Haven't explained very well, it's late!).

Unfortunately, most libertards (nor the gay mafia) still don't know what was meant by that term.

It NEVER meant that gov't couldn't be based on religion, nor espouse the virtues of a religious doctrine. What it DID mean was a gov't can't enforce a religious belief on the ppl, nor penalize those who did not follow.

In other words.. tough shit if the US feels that in GOD WE TRUST, but you are more than welcome to say, feel, practice otherwise.

Q. When will libtards ever get that?!

A. Never.. they rant and rave and any city, state, federal entity that makes the mere mention of Christian values.

SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! Bush, Cheney....SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! Halliburton SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!! SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!

Shut the fuck up.

You are so wrong, face, I don't even know how to explain this to you.

The establishment clause has generally been interpreted to prohibit 1) the establishment of a national religion by Congress, or 2) the preference of one religion over another or the support of a religious idea with no identifiable secular purpose. The first approach is called the "separationist" or "no aid" interpretation, while the second approach is called the "non-preferentialist" or "accommodationist" interpretation. The accommodationist interpretation prohibits Congress from preferring one religion over another, but does not prohibit the government's entry into religious domain to make accommodations in order to achieve the purposes of the Free Exercise Clause.

Now, interpretation is debatable but referring to God and Christian values is preferential and endorses their beliefs. It's not the values themselves; those are universal. It's bringing God and the Christians in that people object to. And please don't start with some crap about how Christians invented morality or charity or anything.

So, do you hate those who follow and believe?

[disclosure: am not religious myself, but don't hate because I don't believe]

I HATE religion, it is a clear enough statement. I did not say i hate followers of religion. I have no problem with people having spiritual beliefs which 'fit' any specific religion but the organisation of beliefs being perpetuated as the truth under the umbrella of an ORGANISED community that operates like a business is what i have issues with.

If someone believes in God then fair enough, but do they believe because they have thought about it and decided it makes sense or because they have grew up surrounded by ideology that has influenced their thinking.

That's the point people need to reach if they are to be really serious about their stance either way, imo.

But couldn't a law based on religion be used to penalize those who don't believe? Gay marriage being a good example (assuming you believe marriage is a right). As an atheist I find "In God We Trust" annoying. The government is endorsing a belief I do not hold, but more importantly it is a belief that has no point whatsoever to the function of government, so they shouldn't endorse anything to begin with. It would be like adopting a national "We Love Bacon" slogan. It is a pointless endorsement that can be used to ostracize it's own citizens. Because you are a vegetarian, you don't love bacon, which means you don't love America.
