Dear World:

The United States of America, your quality supplier of ideals of liberty and democracy, would like to apologize for its 2001-2008 service outage.

The technical fault that led to this eight-year service interruption has been located, and the software responsible was replaced Tuesday night, November 4. Early tests of the newly-installed program indicate that we are now operating correctly, and we expect it to be fully functional by mid-January.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the outage, and we look forward to resuming full service — and hopefully even to improve it in years to come. Thank you for your patience and understanding,

The USA

Please. Don't export any more "liberty" or "democracy" to us. We've had quite enough thank you.

Indeed it was in fact a catastrophic outage. The damage was extensive and devastating to our operations and at this time we have no estimate as to when normal service levels will resume. Please be aware all data has been corrupted and must be recovered to pre-2000.

No worries, We'll be running the latest NORTON 'OBAMA-BOMBER' anti-virus/utilities software come the 20th of the month.

Awwwwwwwww, come now, the rest of the world wasn't any better either ? At least we gave them "Shock & Awe", Hollywood would be proud to put on a show like that, even with CGI.
