I happen to be referring to homeless citizens and veterans (remember, YOU didn't know the G.O.P. had been FUCKING bills aimed at helping the latter until I TOLD YOU) ... and I'm referring to people without hostile intent who come to this country seeking the same thing most others have come for... CHAMP.

Btw, seems to ME the only "cowards" are those who, instead of working on behalf of just causes and empowering people, run around talking about bashing people in their faces and grabbing "ammo" as a first response... CHAMP.
I also know the democrats haven't given a pay raise to our military since they've bee in office (and if you attempt to call Obama's .3% raise anything other than a joke then you are a joke as well).

"People without hostile intent"...... how do you intend to prove this? I'll wait for a legitimate answer, but I have a lunch because I'm sure we will be here a while awaiting your answer.

You can call me what you wish. I've been through more than you read in the news. Most of what liberals love to spin as "paranoia" and "propaganda" I have actually lived through.

I'll keep carrying guns and knives.

I've had to use them.

And it's funny...... every time I've been attacked it's been by a registered democrat.

And if you have, being in a riot doesn't make you any more of an authority than not being in a riot does...
And WTF IS 'severe safety'?[/QUOTE
So..... being in a car wreck, being burned by a stove, having a broken bone.... having experienced those things doesn't make one more of an authority on the subject than someone who has?? Ok. That's funny.

"Severe safety" was quite obviously a "fat finger" typo. I'm sorry you needed an explanation. Bless your heart.

Well maybe that's because you do shit like come here and defend a bigot like Jeff fkng Sessions, for one. You claim to not be a Republican but most of your criticism of policy, national and foreign is aimed specifically at Democratic, liberal ideals. Why? Because you believe the Obama administration (and I guess, by proxy, Democrats) hurt your family? (That's right, I've read up on what you've had to say.)

Like I told you BEFORE, LOOK AGAIN at WHO has been opposing an increase to the minimum wage, and Medicaid expansion, and veterans' jobs and benefits bills, and extensions to unemployment benefits for those who, through no fault of their own, were long term unemployed, and equal pay for women.

Look at WHO even NOW is trying to fuck Medicare and Social Security and healthcare while passing tax break after tax break for the wealthiest among us.

What good is your resolve and commitment if you're on the WRONG side of doing what is RIGHT?

Now you bring up good points.

Jeff Sessions.... you mean the same one who fought segregation in the south? Cool. I agree.

I'll be the first one to say minimum wage SHOULD be increased. If my research proves accurate, it should be about $12.75 to equate with the overall economy. However, if anyone thinks burger flippers and grocery baggers are more important than our military members, go **** yourself. Keep pushing for more money when a machine can replace you for less financially. Beware what you wish for.

Medicare, social security, unemployment benefits, et cetera..... are NOT responsibilities of the government. Period.

So..... being in a car wreck, being burned by a stove, having a broken bone.... having experienced those things doesn't make one more of an authority on the subject than someone who has?? Ok. That's funny.

So to take your example all the way home:
Being killed/blinded/paralyzed in a car wreck makes you an expert on car wrecks?
Being burned on a stove gives you knowledge of what occurs when bodily tissue is burned or how burned tissue heals?
Having broken a bone will prevent other breaks or make you knowledgeable about how to set a broken bone, how breaks heal, or how reduce a fracture?
Having been vaporized by a nuclear weapon teaches you how to make one?
Get real.

Reasoning by analogy the way you're doing it is logically invalid, and you should go learn why.

Bless your brain!

So you're saying a person who has actually experienced those things is no more qualified than someone who has seen them on television or read about them?

Too funny.

Would you please post the tax rates, cost of goods, and cost of living for said countries.

I wouldn't know that. I know the U.S. has sufficient enough wealth that they SHOULD be able to provide for the basic needs of its poorest citizens, just as well as any of the others.

I also find it odd how YOU, several posts ago, mention homeless citizens and veterans as if you cared, then later say how ensuring their well being is not the responsibility of government.

Either you give a fuck about them or you don't. Which is it?

I do. They're outrageously expensive.

Even though I don't believe it is the responsibility of the government to provide such services, I will definitely agree with your statement that if they have the ability through surpluses, they should. However, you're going to have to take the greed out of politicians (good luck with that). In addition, the left leaning politicians are just as guilty as the right leaning ones when it comes to that (they are all politicians after all).

IF a country were to do such, I think it should be provided first and foremost to military veterans, people who have volunteered to serve their country and been willing to sacrifice far more than most will ever understand.

One of the things I am most disdainful of is that people are crying about $20 billion for a wall to protect the people of this country, saying that amount of money could (in theory) end homelessness, yet not one of those people was saying anything when Obama spent $385 billion on a stupid stimulus.

Give all the politicians equal pay to what a soldier makes and take away their continuous salaries after leaving office. Then force them to work 80 hours a week (like so many Americans do to make ends meet) until they unfuck our financial issues and stop needless spending.

I don't understand why it's perfectly ok to you right wingers for the GOP to support corporate welfare, send troops overseas to protect corporate interests, and not make those same corporations responsible for the care and welfare of the service men and women?

Why should I pay healthcare for a marine who volunteered to essentially protect ExxonMobil's interests?

.

I'm not a republican. I don't like Trump. I do not in any way support corporate welfare (even though most of the left's politicians do as well).

Service members volunteer to serve our country, and not a specific interest like Exxon Mobil (as you claim), which is totally ignorant bullshit.

For all the people against "big oil" for their profits, you should research what the tax rate on fuel is they receive as compared to the federal government (spoiler alert: the government taxes fuel at a rate about 10 times what the oil companies do). So.... when will you complain to ALL the politicians in D.C. about that??
